Your right, It was nothing but a walk around lol. When I inspected my truck, I even giggled the hoses and looked at the belts closer. I would have to take a pass driving this. Glad she knows how to check the tires lol.

Right. A leak will escape through the air knob and make a air noise. I love what your doing with your life. It's called taking care of yourself instead of depending on government hand outs. You are totally awesome.!!

Hey Dauminique, Not sure if you grab all your clamps under the hood to check for tightness or any broken ones, But you def should. I push and pull to see if they move. Ive found loose clamps numerous times where the air filter tube hooks to filter, behind the turbo, the tube clamp that comes off the side of radiator on right side and others over time on diff trucks. I grab and twist the steering column to check for tightness, and push on all the small hose clamps for tightness. Make sure to look in between your duals for any lodged rocks that could fly out. Just trying to help you a bit with some pointers if you dont already know. Spin your lift axles by hand when their raised to check for brake tightness or out of adjustment. Stay safe

You must not drive the same truck everyday. On these new trucks you get codes if you have loose filter clamps. Rocks will either come out of your duals when you hit the freeway or you will feel the tire out of balance. Either way you should know that you have a rock in your duals way before you get to the yard. When I do drive through big rocks that can get stuck I check my duals before I leave the job to avoid those last 2 problems.

The KW and Petes have a “light test” in the dash settings. It will run threw all light test during your post/pre. That will help a lot for your break lights. Hope this helps.

Interesting, My truck doesn’t have that. It just has gages for fuel mileage and codes.

Dauminique, I really like your videos. Very cool! I have a question. Why with all of those axles do they no equip your rig with lug nut indicators? With that many lug nuts, it would be difficult to detect one backing out and potentially injuring someone with a wheel loss. Just curious.

Hi cutie honey momma baby darlin’ LOL. I check my brake lights by holding down my Johnny bar it should stay but if you have a newer tractor if you press on your brake pedal and hold it a few seconds your brake lights will stay on for you to check them just FYI love your videos

Do you check the brake slack adjusters daily? Do you do the adjustment, or do your mechanics?
@allanmccullough85504 жыл бұрын
Most adjusters for the past 20+ years are automatic.
