:) i use a vibrating tooth brush to vibrate the hoses, that gets the air bubbles to come to the highest point. I just run the brush along the hose starting at the bottom, then i rubber band it while it's on to the hose.. then i add my fluid to the reservoir while pumping the lever.. :)

We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. kzbin.infoUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!

Is it not better to have the bike vertical?
@UncleFjester3 ай бұрын
Your car has hydraulic brakes too. Works the same way. Reservoir to hold the juice and a valve at each wheel to bleed it. Now, do you think the repair shop puts your car vertical to bleed your brakes? There's a rumor that the new iPhone 16 has artificial common sense, maybe you can look into it?

So I had no idea what I was doing with my tektro brakes and was trying to replace the pads which I guess didn't need replacing but down at the caliper I unscrewed the wrong screw right and all the liquid leaked out and now my frying brake has 0 power, when you pull it, it goes to the handle bar with 0 effect, I tried the brake bleeding thing with a kit I ordered with the correct mineral oil but still my brake has zero power what am I doing wrong how can I fix it please, I don't understand it very much and it's very frustrating, I just want my bike to work right please help someone
@UncleFjester Жыл бұрын
You opened the brake line and lost pressure, you need to do a full bleed and refill See if this helps, if not hydraulic brake may be beyond you mechanical abilities kzbin.info/www/bejne/npfdfYGEadF-bZI

Would I be able to swap the front brake line with the rear so that my rear brake is on the left side vs the right side without a new cable system. I don't know If I can just keep the brake levers in their current sides and just swap the cables from the brake lever to the other side? Is this doable?

Should be easy to do, all you'll need to do is bleed and refill the hydraulic lines. Or you can do what everyone else does and get used to it.

@@UncleFjester okay I'll try it again. Should I empty all the fluid out and reuse it ?

Since you capture the fluid that bleeds out its OK to reuse it. Its not like it could get contaminated. Just keep putting fluid into the system till no air bumps out.

I have a brand new Super73 rx and I moved the brake levers to opposite sides of handlebars so had to mount them upside down to have the rear brake on my left and noticed my lever goes down almost all the way now. I adjusted that screw almost all the way in and it’s better but Im still almost touching my grip and brakes aren’t as strong. Any recommendations on gaining more pressure? Would turning the lever upside down do this? Thanks

@UncleFjester2 жыл бұрын
How old are your Pads? tektro brake pads are basically designed for little girls light weight bikes with no power and wear out super fast. When pads are new they are thick, as they wear they get thin which puts lots of play in the system. Depending on your riding style, 500-800 miles is all you can expect.
@homeiswheremyhouseis55172 жыл бұрын
@@UncleFjesterIt's a new Ride1Up LMTD with only 156 miles on it. I ride fast on full power with a heavy bike but that still seems like too little.
@UncleFjester2 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you need to bleed the brakes. check every fittin on the lines to make sure nothing is leaking. If there is or was a leak, then there is air in the lines. The tektro 350 is a bottom of the barrel entry level POS system. I doubt we could find a cheaper hydraulic brake set up if we tried. Keep spare pads, fluid, and a bleed kit on top of your work bench. You're gonna get real good, real quick on brakes.
