I’m a year late but this is great. Definitely agree with the Roland pianos take. I’ve heard tons of Roland pianos and have never particularly cared for them. Always something weird sounding in the midrange.

I also like sampled piano much more, however I was pleasantly suprised by the felt pianos on pianoteq and some EPs, but not the pianos. It's also nice that you just need an iphone.

I bought Spotlight piano from Fracture Sounds but that one did not really fit into my arrangement. Have you tried that one? I think I need a "ballad" piano. Which may that be? (Not e-piano)

I have not. For ballad piano maybe check out keyscape or piano verse by ok multimedia. They have some nice studio sounds

Great Review! I have a question. I'm interested in buying the Stage version of Pianoteq but I would like to change some details in Action section. It's possible to change some Action parameters in the Stage version? Thanks!

From what I checked, the only available options are "mute, key release noise, and pedal noise". Some I'm pretty sure you'll get more features in the next level up. Also keep in mind I have the Ant. Petrof 275 so I'm not sure if other pianos have different settings.
