+Madeleine Smith You can. You just have to be VERY gentle if using synthetic hair. I have a video on my channel showing how I revived my curls. Prior to recording that video, I shampooed the hair. - I would say shampoo about once a week or every 2 weeks. (I waited 2 weeks)
