Our basement is not very tall. We use milk crates, just one layer for the stuff that we use frequently. A couple of things that I carry that I did not hear you mention is spare fuses, for camper and tow vehicle, and a spare thermal fuse for the water heater. We have needed both in our group over the last several years.

Yes. It's the necessary eval. Even on a 22' trailer at least once a year to pull everything out of the lower hold. And reorganize things back in. Team Clear

Thank you for all the time and effort y'all have put into these videos. They have been an enormously helpful resource that we will be using, starting later this week, when my wife and I go pick up our first RV (2016 Keystone camper, 26'). Much appreciated. God bless.

GO BEN! You did a "super" job. I'm a clear bin guy, except they're not as sturdy. I never thought to use bins without lids that keep items clean and dry if taken out in the rain. How is that working for you. You mentioned organizing by category but never really spelled them out. I use electrical, plumbing/fresh water, sewer, engine/generator, sealant/lubricant/cleaner, patio, outdoor kitchen, tools. etc. Keep making interesting, informative, and entertaining videos. Thanks

I am TeaTe"Stop being a control freak" and let Ben handle this. He's very capable of coming up with a plan that works for his needs and making adjustments if something doesn't work like he thought it would. I know organization is your thing and you are good at it, but give him a chance.

Charity, it’s not even close to being OCD, more like perfectionism if you like being organized. I have a need for organization because my ADHD tends to make me scatterbrained, as my craft room can testify! Team clear- clear bins with locking lids! I’m with Charity about the open bins. Unless they’re jammed in place they’ll tip & mess abounds

On travel days, you can turn open front crates toward the wall to prevent spillage. It will be quick and easy to turn toward the door when you arrive at a destination or when you experience a need while traveling.

We used clear bins, but they shattered over the course of a single year. As for the hole in the bottom, you can repair almost all of this damage with a heat gun and metal painter's multitool. for open spots remaining, you can use sperglue and sand. Seal the bottom of the bin from the bottom with painter tape. make the top ofthe hole level with sand, then saturate the sand with superglue (cyanoacrylate glue). The sand becomes cement, and is extremely durable and doesn't fall off -as long as you saturate the sand. Peel off the painter tape in ten minutes. Alternatively, you can use baking soda and CA glue - This is used to repair guitar fret and bridges, so it's very, very hard and durable. You can file or sand to shape, if needed. Use for SMALL repairs. This is an exothermic chemical reaction, so it gets hot, but cools rapidly. Also, the gas released is cyanide, so you need ample ventilation.

Don't cheap out on the quick connects either. The cheap ones at Home Depot etc aren't good enough. The extention cord reels work good for hoses as well because it makes it easier to wind/unwind the hoses. I can unwind only enough to reach the faucet and it keeps all the extra neat and rolled up.

I'm team clear. Perhaps label the bins crates 1 2 3 etc.. and list what's in it in a binder, or use your label maker and paste the list on the under lid of the garage door, so it will be easy to access .

Hi Charity! I once asked you for the name of the RV site App that you have to get reservations, and to also find roads to travel/not travel down..... We're newbies, like BRAND NEW and when I asked you for that information, we hadn't yet purchased our travel trailer, and now we have one!!! I can't for the life of me find your response! I put in a very 'safe' place! Duh! Would you kindly resend me this information?
