I really hope there's an update for the app coming soon. Frankly the UI of the app is embarrassing. It shouldn't be necessary to watch a video like this just to get the lights connected. I've worked with the lights a couple of times, and I had so many issues with the app. The lights are awesome, but they are absolutely held back by the app. I really hope you will spend some money on talented UX designers and app developers.

Thanks... I'm an small DoP, who have a Titan 8 tubes kit, 3 Cinepars, and a Hydrapanel kit... But I HAVE A PROBLEM. I'm a little old guy and my bad english and my age to understand or have a correct knowledge about ASTERAS use ... I have any problems to learn. Could you made some tutorials for dumbs or olds ?.... How can I pair the lights without using the AsteraBox?

@@cae.i If you do not have an AsteraBox, you will need a BTB light to pair to the app. This video explains how to do it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHqZhquVfaapf6s If you don't have access to BTB lights, you will need an AsteraBox.

Hi, could be that you already rented a fixture with BTB, then it is not necessary to use the AsteraBox in this case, yes!
