Brilliant video! You've hit the sweet spot in terms of pitching the level of detail, and you communicate the subject really well. I'm impressed with the MPC Studio + MPC2 as a relatively inexpensive creative package. Q: I'm looking to explore sample beat making and wondered if it's possible to connect other gear e.g. synths, to MPC2 so that you could add audio/melody to projects you've started with the Studio interface? Is MPC2 a fully fledged DAW in that respect, or is it just designed to be the brains of the MPC Studio?

Thank you! Yes you can add audio tracks into MPC2. I’ll put that on my list of videos to make, but yes, MPC2 is a full fledged DAW that just happens to integrate wonderfully (and is the brains) with the MPC Studio!

Hey I plug in my controller then it lights up for a second saying it’s on then the lights cut off, it can’t play, stop, record or even use any of the functions, if I put an expansion pack in it’ll make noise but I can’t put anything together because I can’t record/play/stop, the knob doesn’t work and the screen on the top right doesn’t change from the akai logo. I really hope you can get back to me.

Are you able to open MPC software in FL Studio 20 as a vst?? I haven't been able to due to fruity wrapper error and was wondering if anybody had a fix for it that has the MPC Studio

My MPC software is not letting change the path to save all my sessions..for example I wanna save all my default sessions to an external drive..but the mpc software doesn't have an option to change it to another drive for exampl3.. I just want to move the path for all the sessions that work on because right now it only lets save on my C drive..please help thanks

It's built for computer geeks not musicians , save seq save project save sample is not for me, I bought this product thinking they must of got it right by now, highly disappointed but it looked really good so I bought it & got robbed . Native instruments is easily the way forward, no non sense products & software mpc stands for manipulate people's currency & sell them confusion by the time they figure it out its gone past the return date
