Great to see another video :) Looking forward to receiving the new book too! Would be great to see some videos on naans, chapattis, wraps etc. Pretty sure I've got it right from the book but would love to see the master in action!

Hi Oliver - Thank you very much. I have quite a few naan and chapatti videos on the way. :-)

Looks really fabulous Dan! As an aside I have asked so many Indians how I can grow a curry leaf plant, how did you go about that?
@DanToombs6 жыл бұрын
Thank you Simon. I got my plants from Plants4Presents. They don't grow much in the winter but in the warmer months they grow a lot of leaves! Highly recommend.

Dan, does the lamb have to be pre-cooked?
@DanToombs6 жыл бұрын
Hi Kenneth - Thanks for asking. No but it will take longer. If using raw lamb though, I would recommend cooking it in the pan first, then following the recipes. That way the dish will all come together at the right time.

Hi Dan, i know you said use any lamb but if i were to go buy some lamb for this dish from my local butchers which should i ask for please?

Really even the cheapest cuts like neck can be used but I usually use leg or shoulder. :-)

Leg and chump are the two best for stir fry imo. Never tried neck, only stewed it.

I have made this about 3 times with ground lamb, raw. I omit the soy sauce. The lemon makes it! So delicious.

Hi Dan. In your Naan recipe that calls for "plain white flour", would that be what we in the US call "All Purpose" (low protein) or "Bread Flour" (high protein)?
@DanToombs6 жыл бұрын
Hi Rita - In the US I've used both but I think plain flour is closest to all purpose. Both will work though. :-)
