i dont know why but some of the points stay where they are and don´t get projected. the result is a loopy spline geometry? has someone had the problem?

maybe you should make sure you smooth circle big enough,increase Radius ,narrow the view of object。?

Sorry, just noticed this, try changing the viewport display to "Gouroud Shading", then it should work. I think this might be a bug.

Hi, im using c4d r2025 and the project tool is not working like it should. Im wondering if anyone is experiencing this because when using previous versions it worked fine. If Im in perspective mode it will not project using the view mode. Is this a bug?

I have the same issue. It works in orthographic views though, top, front etc.

I think another way is to increase the number of points by subdividing the spline
