Be careful when using acetone as it's able to partly dissolve ABS plastics, so if you have any satin or coarse finish on an ABS piece, rubbing acetone on it will make it smooth.

Hi, i have the opposite issue, i have a sony microphone made in 1984. I want to protect the logo and other informations wroten in the plastic body of the microphone because they are become removal just by touching. So what can i do ?
