Quick Tip: Kontakt Script Reference Text File

This video shows you have to set up the Kontakt instrument NKI to reference a text file outside of the script editor. This improves your efficiency by allowing you to use your preferred text editor without having to copy/paste changes to your code over to the backend of Kontakt. Simply make changes to your text file, push save, and changes will automatically be transferred to the NKI.

What if that ... Resources folder is greyed out????

My guess is that a resources folder has not been created yet. You should manually create one with a .txt file in the location shown in the video. Let me know if that works for you.

@@BeepBoopAudio Thanks for the response. I had the folder structure, but had the wrong extension on the file! Sometimes they try to hard to protect us from ourselves. Bad UI/UX decision.

Thanks. For me, Sublime will not format/color the code unless it is a .ksp file. How did you get Sublime to format the code of a .txt file? Kontakt will not recognize a .ksp file.

Sorry I didn't respond to this before. In sublime, go to "View > Syntax > KSP". You will need to download the KSP syntax first.
