Thank you for putting this out. All very minor issues all new sleds have them. The Catalyst is Great Sled!

Sorry if this was mentioned but, these repairs should be steps the dealer does after uncrating and doing the PDI process. Yeah, you lose a little time on the work order for the tech but taking care of the customer purchasing the unit before hand should be priority.

Wow!!! lots of engineering concerns and lack of detail and part quality issues. Lots of money they are asking for this machine with all these potential problems.Will be holding off on purchasing this machine.

AC released a bulletin for the pv issue before you guys released this video, and has a special tool to verify/adjust the valves. Bending the bracket without properly adjusting the cable can burn out the servo.

What length SP-1 spring do we order for the y-pipe to pipe?

For a single purpose machine that only does one thing and costs as much as it does, that’s quite a bit of “overlooked” issues right off the bat……

This is nothing compared to the debut of the 2003 Firecat. That first year sled had kitty litter strewn all up and down the trail 😂. My 2005 Sno Pro was a rocket ship though, Arctic Cat had them dialed in really good by then.

Like $10,000 so I’ll deal with 1/2 the bs problems for half the money. Imagine buying a new car KNOWING that it has all these problems before you even drive it off the lot.

every brand has issues with a first year sleds. If that wasn't the case there wouldn't be recalls.
@LSDdreams80823 сағат бұрын
@Trooperx86 there is no excuses for this bad of quality control period. If you are dropping $20k on a new sled the manufacturer should have most issues squared away. Stuff like this is why cat is going down hill they have more recalls than any other sled manufacture. A few of my die hard cat friends moved to polaris a few years back because there sleds where in the shop more than on the trails!!!!
@Trooperx8622 сағат бұрын
@LSDdreams808 more then any other? Look at polaris. Stop ride after stop ride. And on sleds that have been out more then a year.

This is exactly why Arctic Cat is getting out of the snowmobile market. They make garbage products. The only thing smart they did was use Suzuki motors in their ATVs.
