To install the plugin manually, first download the ZIP file from the WordPress plugin repository at wordpress.org/plugins/give/ and then navigate to Plugins > Add New > Upload and manually upload the ZIP file. If you are running version 5.5 or later of WordPress itself, it will offer to override the existing version. You can also use FTP to upload the plugin and/or add-ons. Hey David, I see that you've also reached out to support about this, and that you've uncovered an edge case issue with GoCarless gateway specifically. For the benefit of others who might read this, the answer is "It depends on the gateway" and off the top of my head I know that Stripe, PayPal Donations, and Authorize.Net support it. I wish the donor dashboard was working for us. It keeps loading and displays nothing. Never been able to make it work despite all caching tricks explained on the documentation. Very frustrating.

@@GiveWP I did, yes. I basically was told to do what's on the website documentation page about the caching, that had aleady be done. I was also asked to send the system info.

Hi! Thanks a lot for this video. So I'm using give plugin, but when a donation is made on the site I have to accept it on the dashboard for the transaction to be completed. Do you have any idea of how to automatically accept the transaction? Ty in advance.

We're happy to clarify here. I am going to assume the payment gateway is Stripe here, as that's most common. For Stripe, this is most often caused by a lack of the proper webhook (the only mechanism for sending data from Stripe to your GiveWP site) set in your Stripe account. The good news is that the fix is a few steps of copy-pasting, and we've documented it very thoroughly. The webhook endpoint is a URL that you need to copy and paste into a specific tab of the Stripe Dashboard, and then configure to receive the following events: ​ ​checkout.session.completed payment_intent.succeeded payment_intent.payment_failed charge.refunded customer.subscription.deleted customer.subscription.created invoice.payment_failed invoice.payment_succeeded Our documentation (with screenshots!) on setting up the webhook is here: givewp.com/documentation/add-ons/stripe-gateway/#connecting-stripe-and-your-webhook-required If the webhook is correctly configured, you should see a record in the logs at Donations > Tools > Logs > Stripe for every event at Stripe (going forward). ​ You'll need to manually go through and mark the older ones as complete, using your Stripe account to cross-reference. Double-check that webhook and let us know if you need anything else. The best place to reach out is our support channels, not KZbin.

They the F... you cant translate the donor dashboard or some parts of the pluing .. even with WPLM or Loco ?

Hi there! The donor Dashboard uses JavaScript to load in translatable strings. It's possible to translate using a custom code snippet for sure, and any solution that handles javascript string translation should work just fine. Definitely do reach out to support if you haven't already, and we're happy to take a look at your specific implementation! Multilingual stuff like WPML is exponentially more tricky, but it should be possible.
