How did you put the shock inside the spring

Did this with No Air tools , adjustable wrench, breaker bar, 1/2” ratchet, 22mm 24mm 13mm sockets. A Big F-in Hammer, elbow grease, 1 jack stand and 1 jack with a piece of wood. Job took about 1 and a half hours. PLEASE GET AN ALIGNMENT AFTER THIS! Any questions just ask and I’ll respond promptly. Have a good day!

Are these the lower control arms off of a 2500 put on a 1500 because those for riveted bolts on the lower ball joint are different than the 1500 lower control arms

If both are 2wd then they look similar No this is for a1500

When I bought this I got it from Oreilly’s, However on Rockauto.com this would be the equivalent : MEVOTECH GS25195 MEVOTECH GS25194 They are about 90$ each shipped so pretty good deal.

Question I have a 06 Ram 5.7 2wd I went with moog. Do they come with grease already in it? Lol

Lol they do but hardly enough to keep it properly lubed up. I recommend going to harbor freight or wherever they have cheap tools around your area and getting a grease gun. They will last a whole lot longer!

You should be fine for the first month 😂 even less if it rains alot

Do not overtighten the lower bolts from the shock!!!!! I tore one and its stuck, now I have to take off the LCA and find a bolt if not then I have to buy a new shock from mopar because it has the bolts and other parts Ill need. I was installing some Bilstein shocks and this happened to me.

They were pretty ass 🤣 I highly recommend going OEM They last at least 100k
