When I did this once I ended up with irritation on my forehead. So now I just shampoo it the same way...but then I wash the shampoo out, pat it dry a little, then apply pomade and put my durag on. Waves still look good.

If you got hard hard you should use a hard brush more it helps

Hard hair is even better it stays in black better... Start with brushing everyday to train your hair. This does not work if you don't regularly brush your hair....

You can take a shower and rinse out the shampoo at the same time. Just be careful. Use slightly warm/cold water.

When do you use the soft and hard brush? Do you use the soft brush towards the end and the hard brush in the beginning?

I just use a medium brush the whole time. But you can start with a hard brush and end with a soft brush, depending on how long your hair is. Brushes don’t really matter as long as your hair is being pulled.

This is the best way to wash your waves. But you don’t have to. But it’s highly recommended.
