@@diydetailofficial I'm planning to do the DIY Ceramic stack shortly, and I have a car with an older ceramic coating that needs to be removed first. I don't think I need a full paint correction, just a few scratch repairs and then I'd like to do the Red Jewelling DIY pad with gold standard polish. Will this remove the old ceramic coat or will i be required to do a yellow pad, followed by a red pad to fully remove my old ceramic coat? Thank you!

can you guys do a video (or have a video) on the best way to remove polish / wax residue that gets onto the black plastic cladding that typically shows up the next day in a whiteish look that's a PIA to get off typically.. I've used dawn and a tooth brush and pencil erasers that seems to work best for me so far , there has to be something better!! of course us peasants can tape it but even still if we end up with a spot...

I've got a 2012 era BMW that has some holograms and lots of car wash swirls. They are all very fine and not deep, but the clear coat seems to be exceptionally hard. I have a 21mm machine with Gold Standard polish and your wool pad. I can't seem to get anywhere at speed 3. 5-5-5 method seems to help, but I don't really want to do that to the whole car. Any suggestions?

Currently I pitch this as a Polish package and treat the scratch removal as an add-on for each scratch/defect, i.e $25 per scratch or whatever. To me it seems like a case by case custom package to avoid under/overcharging. Does that make sense or would a single package be a better UX?

Yvan, I have a couple questions. I do know you're doing some correction here. But, I have always seen you use and promote setting 1 on the machine. What made you use setting/speed 5? I also typically see you do what (in my brain) equals 3 passes. As an example side to side, up and down, then side to side again. They overlap but for the sake of the question 3 lol. I am newer to the chanel and may have missed something previous to this, so please don't hear anything as snarky. It's an actual question and no sarcasm implied. Everything you do has a reason behind it. Just trying to fine it here:).
