This is literally what I'm trying to deal with right now for my bosses QB account. You are a life saver! I have a question, though- so my boss last year was using Paypal for business and personal transactions. I have all of 2022 to sort through. Is there an easy way to sort out the personal stuff that was paid from a bank account that isn't connected to her Quickbooks? I know excluding transactions will not let you ever reconcile. It's a mess, I know lol.

Sadly, there is no easy way to do this. Get a big cup of coffee, fight your way through it, and code all the personal stuff to "owner investment."

I am having issues connection my PayPal credit card, but I don't have the banking section on my QuickBooks. I've tried business and accountant view. Any advice?

QuickBooks is constantly testing changes to the software. Some people are seeing an updated menu that calls the banking section "Transactions." I'm having a little trouble with this still because the credit card that I have linked is the Paypal credit card so it shows double on the Paypal credit card side and the Paypal bank side. Any tips for this problem?

Do you exclude the extra transaction on the PayPal credit card side?

@@MistahChante You should have two transactions, one showing up in the PayPal credit card and one showing up in the PayPal bank. You match those two, no excluding necessary. If something else is going on you'll need to schedule a 15-minute meeting so I can take a look.
