What I currently need for my business (and you please tell me if I'll need a 3rd party app for this) is a third column in the middle of "rate" and "amount" that will have a "retail price". I am a distributor to supermarkets, so I charge the supermarket for example 1.29 for a product and then if I sold them 6 items that will be as shown here 1.29 * 6, but they also charge their customers what you call the retail price of 1.99 (a 35% profit) and I need that number to be displayed on the invoice because we need to know what to mark prices at with our price guns. In essence, that number will have no effect on the formula of what gives us the subtotal but it is information that we need to display on our invoice as I mentioned. Please help. =)

Matt, how can I get hold of the Craig's Design and Landscaping services file for practice use? Like the videos. Thanks

CHUCK TROTTER go to your main Open Company File screen and there’s a button that says “Open Sample File”. Go there and you can choose from about 10 different sample files

CHUCK TROTTER sorry that was for QBD. For QBO go under the Gear icon and you should see a “Sample Company File” option.

So, am I to understand that the ability to set price rules is ONLY in QBOL Plus?
@timbaker61085 жыл бұрын
Does the Pricing Rules allow for pricing by Customer Type, e.g. Retail, Commercial, Loyalty Member, etc. The pool company I am working with set up pricing by Commercial (HOA and Apartments), Retail On-line, Retail Store, and Service Contract Members.
@QbuniversityOrg5 жыл бұрын
Tim Baker it does but in a bit of a different manner than QBD. You could set up a price rule called Commercial and apply that to specific commercial customers.

@@QbuniversityOrg A bit more cumbersome in this regard IMO.

Zaid abdeen I am not in front of QB at the moment to see but will check later. They could have moved it in an update or something
@QbuniversityOrg4 жыл бұрын
@@zaidabdeen1230 I just checked and it is under the Gear Icon in Company Settings under Sales. It should say Beta next to it. Once you turn it on, go to the Gear Icon and select "All Lists" then click on Price Rules. If you do not see it, try opening QBO in Firefox or another browser. Some browsers do some weird things with QBO
