Quickest way to get Prismatic Shields in Elite Dangerous : Detailed Guide [2021]

Hey guys here's the prismatic video as I said would be here in the last one, I hope you enjoy and as always find it very helpful. I have been looking at video Idea's for Elite Dangerous and have also been making some content of other games. I will continue to post Elite content but you might see other games pop up as my weekly video from time to time. This guide is pretty good! One remark I would give however: I would not recommend preparing for Prismatics when only 862M CR is available. Even allowing for a 15% discount, three 8A Prismatic Shields alone would require the sum of 622M. Another three 7A cost 196M, three 6A cost 62M and so on... I think it is even unlikely that 3 would be guaranteed enough for a quasi lifetime supply. In the end game you will like to have multiple ships of the same type, engineered differently and outfitted for certain purposes. Perhaps the esteemed viewers of this video should still consider that, so as not to be completely disappointed when trying to buy the beautiful modules. They are damn expensive. :-)

Thanks for making video, I could not work it out my self but you make it look so easy. I am so looking forward to having prizmatics, but i am not going to try and fly that huge ship through the slot like you lol. Pledge today, check you status in three week's from today. Assuming it states you have been pledge for three weeks and at least one day. Pay the price, but load 750 ton's, deliever it, and your done. Now all you have to do is wait again for up to sometime a week after getting the status of 4 week's before getting access to the shield. A T9 can haul 752 tons', you only need 750. The first ten and every 20 minutes's following the next 10 are free. How ever, having the fund's meaning a 100,000 per 10 ton's you can load the entire 750. The first ten being free, the next 740 will cost you some 7.5 million. Make sure to the tune of 100%, not to deliver until you at least 3 week's and one day. Any sooner and you'll loose half of your tonnage, meaning you'll have to purchase another 315 ton because the first ten will be free, and you'll have to pay agian for the 315 ton at 100,000 per ten. Been there done that.

I have one Question. in my outfitting window, i see 3 diffrent signs with +40% -20% and +50%. i know thats kinetic Thermal and the other what i dont know in english.. ^^ but it doesent tell me what is what. how do i check what is what?

I'd only buy one of each and swap them off when you need to. Just make a mental note of which is in which ship.

I read elsewhere you can only swap power play modules around if you're still signed up to the faction for a module you're trying to install. Otherwise it won't let you. Is this not the case?

@@DGneoseeker1 Any instances of the module that the player already purchased and installed on a ship or placed in storage are persistent and remain in the player's possession and are free to swap between them regardless of their selected Power.

Can you confirm something? I think I read elsewhere that even if you OWN one of the power play equipment items, if you take it off your ship then try to reinstall it after you are no longer supporting that faction, you will be unable to. That seems pretty stupid.

@@DGneoseeker1 I move my packhounds from station to station and ship to ship all the time. I can confidently tell you that it's fine to pledge to other powers without surrendering your powerplay modules

Pour plusieurs vaisseaux par exemple de type 8, inutile d'acheter plusieurs boucliers puisque de toute façon, vous ne pilotez qu'un vaisseau à la fois. Donc, vous déposez simplement votre bouclier et vous équipez l'autre vaisseau avec. L'idéal est d'avoir un fleet pour entreposer tous vos vaisseaux.
