He would’ve won if he went for hurricane instead of bug buzz (if it hit of course but your more likely to land hurricane then to get a crit with bug buzz).

He probably would’ve if he knew bug buzz didn’t confuse (literally all he had to do was look at the move description to see it doesn’t 😂). But even if it did have a chance to confuse why would u go for that over Hurricane? Sure bug buzz can crit but your more likely to land a hurricane then get a crit or a confuse chance like he thought the move did (and even if he did get the confusion then the opponent has to hit themselves in confusion). It was such a throw to not only not use hurricane on that last turn but also not saving Solrock by swapping it out to get rid of the stat drops.

It's easier to think of Speed Boost as requiring the Pokémon to have an in-battle action to trigger than thinking of it happening at the end of *every* turn.

To balance out my picking on GG, Power Trick on that Solgaleo wasn't necessarily a bad thing...swapping your useless Attack (as its moves were Special) for its Defense makes it slightly more bulky, if needed (this is one of the few times I've seen something like Power Trick actually perhaps be useful).

Overworld encounter Random Pokémon Random abilities Fully evolved 3 skips Roll 6 sided die/ spin wheel with 6 numbers to determine feature of Pokémon to capture

Challenge idea: Scouted blindfold! You both play in the same world, one person leads and bikes/runs from one point to another, both get to watch and scout what can be caught along the route. Then the second person tries to go the same route blindfolded until he runs into a Pokemon and has to catch it. 2 skips, Sw/Sh, I think it would be really fun and challenging!

We have a recommendation! It's called "The Good Boy Challenge".. You select a team of dog pokemon with randomized moves and abilities.. no duplicates.. one legendary per team.. you don't necessarily have to catch them if it'll be too difficult to find them in the world.. if it'd be easier to just edit them into your teams or use Pokemon Showdown, feel free to do that..

You know it might be an interesting idea to spice this challenge up after its over. You each get random 9 type each and then fight in suprise battle against each other without telling the other what type specialty you are using. So it's 9 for chilling and 9 for quick. Then say chilling won like 4 battle and quick won 5 battle then you only take the type you won with and again fight against each other and continue. Even if it's like 1 type left vs 2 type then the 1 type one will have to win against both the type left one by one. This challenge could end fast if one of you continually loses but I have that much trust in ya.

I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.
