Funny that in 2023 even batteries get firmware updates....

Buyer Beware They never send this !! Battery communications do not work yet in their firmware Parallel batteries I would not of purchased if I knew this

So, what does the update do or change in the battery? I suspect it really doesn't alter the battery itself but the BMS inside the case.

Yes, just some feature updates to the firmware of the BMS. In many case, customers don't need to make the change but we wanted to make sure customers knew how to do it when needed.
