A good tip for flinching when meleeing is to turn off your run, makes a lot easier. I use my fang, walk under to the other side of him and attack and repeat.

if you are mage safespotting use the ancient sceptre upgrade from phantom muspah to freeze it for 21 seconds instead of 15 it becomes less annoying

21 is for barrage, he's using blitz, which only increases the freeze from 14,4 seconds to 15,6 seconds (2 ticks more, not great)

@@dominikpecuch2177 yea, either ancient staff or sceptre will do the trick. the best part is that you can autocast freeze with ancient sceptre or staff which makes it more afk

Good guide! 2 Questions: why does he become unfrozen so fast - ice barrage / blitz should freeze way longer according to wiki. How do i know when he becomes unfrozen? And how would u do the combat task where he cannot hit once ? i thought its doable with magic but ofc not since he cant be refrozen instantly and hits u a few times Thanks

Thanks! I don't have an answer for the first question, I never noticed a reduced freeze time. As for your the combat achievement: barrage him, hit him a few times with longrange and leave the cave to lose aggro. Repeat until he's dead.

@@joker432nah its actually bad because it hits slow and doesnt do well with flinching method or walk under for this boss. i think any good slash weapon will do as the boss is weaker to slash than any other styles.

Huge tip with changing it to press shift and click to walk through enemies, makes it so much easier on slayer tasks in general when stacking.

i get the harmonized orb and ancestral is like 600m... but it turns the boss into a joke.... and i get some people wont have good magic because they are iron men you can hit 54 at super high accuracy at 3.0 attack speed eldritch orb keeps prayer up..while using mystic might ...it can hit 65+ ive 5 shot thermy its super rare i have to tangle 3-5 times...it hardly misses and i only get hit 3 times per kill.. mostly misses.... i did a trip earlier today where i got 52 kills in 1 trip. theres 100% no reason to use redemption in SLAYER PVM AT ALL EVER..... your just adding mechanics to the monster for no reason. just use entangle with magic.....its less effort less risk less damage less annoying. the worst part about entanle is that a 89 xp drop can be both a hit and a miss. ( PLEASE FIX THIS JAGEX WTF)
