The AC system comes from the donor car, the kit itself includes 3 interior vents. I meant the rearview camera is an add-on but should have stated it more clearly sorry

I built an Exocet in 2016 and used it on the street and racetracks in the region. It was quite easy to build and very well balanced. More power would have ben nice but a great value for time and money compared to any kit cars I looked at.

How does that work on the exocet if you buy it you get a motor and everything or you also have to have a miata to put the motor and pieces in the exocet?

You basically cut the body off of a Miata and put the frame over it. The drivetrain and floor pan stays.

It's the donor car that the biggest cost. If you can get the parts for a deal under 8k... I think it's a deal.

No, but its not an issue because they have harnesses that are safer

​@@thelag1200Airbags are safer, unless you have helmet with HANS device installed. Harnesses without helmet is way more dangerous for your neck/head in crash

Factory Five cars are far from junk! I have built two and they are solid and the donor cars are quite durable. If you ever drove a F5 Cobra or 33 with a turbocharged Coyote motor you would absolutely love it and if you didn't you are not a car guy.
