In the comics Scarlet Wich and Quicksilver are Magnetto's children and mutants. So Pietro and Peter are the same character in different movie universe. While Peter is Magnetto's son in X-Men, Pietro in the MCU is not, but he has his sister Scarlet Wich (Wanda Maximoff). But since Disney didn't buy Fox yet, that's why they are so different in everything despite being the same character.

You missed the reveal of Eric being Quicksilver father in X-Men Days of Future Past. It was revealed in the elevator when quicksilver came alone to help Eric escape out of the Pentagon. Quicksilver say's "They told me that you have the power to control metal." Eric says "They?" Then Quicksilver says "My mom once knew someone who can do that". Look at the expression that Eric makes. You can see that he thought about something.

Little word of advice just in case you're ever around a friend who happens to get shot by an arrow, NEVER take the arrow out 🤣. Most of the time in those situations that arrow is the only thing that's keeping you from bleeding out, and as soon as you pull it out you open the plug you'll die within minutes if the arrow was inside one of the many lethal locations. You keep it in them until they get to the hospital and let the doctor take it out once they have the surgery table and the blood bags ready. In order to build a travel with it you have to stabilized arrow by holding a very tight as close to the wound as possible as you snap the excess arrow and break it off.

People forget that first class through dark Phoenix are a different timeline from the originals. The first 3, origins and the wolverine are from the first time line. First class was a series reboot. They couldn't recast Charles or wolverine because they are so perfect for thier roles. Days of future past cements a 3rd timeline, where Logan doesn't have to kill Jean.

20:29 I thought you've remembered! 😔 This is why some of us were disappointed when we saw Evan Peters as "Quicksilver" in WandaVision because we thought he was this version of Pietro Maximoff that came to the main MCU timeline. Unfortunately, they made it into a joke. But yeah, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are the children of Magneto! In the comics, they were part of the Brotherhood of Mutants and enemies of the X-Men until they join the Avengers. The reason they haven't said it in the MCU yet because in the past, Marvel lost the rights to the mutants/X-Men and the Fantastic Four. So, they retcon their backstory, saying their not mutants. Fortunately, Marvel has the rights to all their characters again *Minus Spider-Man* and they can make it canon again. That's why Wanda and Pietro weren't called by their superhero names in the MCU until now.

Peter and Pietro Maximoff are both the same character. Quicksilver. Comic Book/OG name being Pietro. He and Scarlet Witch are the twin children of Magneto. Only the MCU used Pietro as the name and the X-Verse used Peter instead, I think, to avoid confusion. But I'm not 100% sure if that's why they changed his name for X-Men

Every time she dies the timelines reset to her date of birth and she retains her past life memories. Charles has found out what she is and so have a few others. The question is….. what do you do with knowledge? Knowing nothing matters because there’s a reset while also knowing everything matters because you could break the loop potentially and never have the reset again.

Many are saying this but Peter IS Pietro Maximoff. They are the same character but because of the IP rights being sold to FOX for the X-men they had to split them in a way. Marvel Studios gained Wanda (Scarlett Witch) and FOX gained Pietro (Quicksilver). This is why he died in Ultron. So Marvel couldn’t use the same character at the same time. So in Wandavision when they revealed the Fox version it was a huge deal. Literally. FOX was acquired by Disney allowing all the X-Men and Fantastic Four character back to Marvel Movies and TV. As for Storm and the others in this film. The timeline is now different than the one from the original trilogy of X-Men movies because of the events of Days of Futures Past. The ending in that movie is what all following movies are leading to. Including Logan, Deadpool and The New Mutants. Oh and for laughs you should watch Kickass 1 & 2 then rewatch 106 of Wandavision lol.

This Quicksilver (Peter Maximoff) is the same character that Marvel used in the MCU (Pietro Maximoff). In the comics (and the MCU) Pietro is the brother of Wanda. In the Fox X-Men movie Peter doesn't seem to have a sister, so he is not as comic book accurate in that regard, but on the other hand he is the son of Magneto in the X-Men movies, while Wanda and Pietro are not in the MCU (as far as we know there is no Magneto in the MCU). Once Disney bought the rights to the Fox X-Men, we all wanted them to kinda cross over, that was why we were all so excited when in Wandavision it was suddenly the X-Men version of Quicksilver showing up, instead of the MCU version. So yeah, it's just basically the same character, just used by two different companies in different franchises.

Just FYI, the origins of the characters in these movies are different from what they are in the comics. Some things are similar but, on the whole, they've changed things. The end credit scene with Essex Corp is a nod to a comic villain called Mr. Sinister. Whose real name is Nathanial Essex. He was a scientist/geneticist from 1800's England who is obsessed with mutants and finding the most powerful ones to manipulate gene lines to produce the most powerful mutants. Mr. Sinister has been hinted at in several Sony Marvel movies but never has been on screen. I'd heard that Jon Hamm was approached to play him in the New Mutants movie but it never panned out.

"Wolverine has killed a lot of people" bit of a understatement to say the least. His kill count in just one story alone is over 4,000 people. His total kill count is most likely in the tens if not hundreds of thousands given that he is 200 years old

Pietro in English is Peter. The copyright issues between Marvel and Fox (and Sony) messed a lot of the stories up & on top of that, with the poor reception of X3 the last stand, the movies after it were sort of a reboot.
