It was quite hard to make and I literally spent around 2 hours to make this instead of studying 😅 I also made a huge mistake while making caramel. But it turned out really delicious. Now I don't regret spending hours on it. Thanks for sharing this amazing recipe with us😊

I only remember the sugar milk and eggs growing up but when it was finished the cook sprinkled cinnamon on top before we ate. Very delicious no matter what topping. Thank you for the memories.

Ingredients: 2 cups of milk 1/3 cup of sugar 2 eggs Vanilla extract (optional) 1. Add milk to a pot and bring to boil 2. Add sugar to a separate pot and cook on medium to low heat to caramelise until sugar has dissolved 3. Over low heat, slowly add the milk to the caramel and stir until caramel dissolves again 4. Set aside 5. In a bowl, crack and whisk the two eggs together (add optional Vanilla essence) 6. Gradually add the caramel mixture to eggs, stirring quickly so as to not cook the eggs 7. Strain the mixture 8. Pour mixture into glasses of your choice and cover with saran wrap 9. Add the glasses to a large saucer and fill with hot water 10. Cover and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes 11. Chill for 2-3 hours before serving. Decorate with nuts or caramel sauce as you wish.

Longest five minutes I’ve ever seen. Nice simple recipe for custard. But it is time consuming. It wasn’t even put together in five minutes. Much less cooked and chilled. I look forward to trying it.
