@@gardeddiamondzombie9185decapitations getting removed tends to normally (keyword) be a japan-only thing. Its a cultural and historical thing but its weird considering how much body horror stuff comes from Japan. That being said. RE4 had a delayed release in Japan that saw the Dr. Salvador decapitation and the Novistador acid kill removed. Overall, Resident Evil is a weird case as some releases are the same worldwide then some are changed. The biggest ones being the RE2-4 Remakes which have Cero D (effectively rated M) versions with toned down gore and Cero Z (effectively Rated AO/18+) versions with… slightly more gore but still toned down? Its weird. Sorry for rambling, i just really like talking about this stuff.

Ah, yes: 19:37 the goddamn Lickers in this part of the game! I remember playing with my brother, and we got softlocked by these tongue-twisting bastards. Everytime we got hit by one of their tongue, we broke free. Suddenly, another was waiting, and did the same attack on us! Broke free again...and ANOTHER Licker did the same! We got, like, three or four deaths in this part, because of this stupid strat the Lickers got it going! Until, finally, we somehow got free of that, and obliterated all the Lickers. Some goddamn RNG and luck right there! 💀🔫
