I have that happen to me in smash bro’s a lot, I would be offstage, my opponent would be near the ledge to edge guard me, but I would attack them, that attack would give me lag and I wouldn’t be able to recover, Ive only had this issue with cloud but you should know what I mean by now.

I remember when this game came out... Everyone was all "If a game uses QTEs, it's instantly a failure that should be purged from the Earth, because QTEs are CANCER!" ...Then this game came out, and used QTEs for everything but walking and quick attacks, and people were like "Well, it's different for this game, because Bethesda published it." No pretense that anything was done better, or how they were a better fit for the style... Just "Bethesda's name is on it, it gets a pass."

I think Challenge 6 in that game gave me PTSD. I honestly don't know if I want to play that game again after getting all the trophies in that game. But yeah, maybe one day I'll go back and do them.

@@QuickTimeFailure I mean, by "one section" I mean there's only one part of the game where QTE's are used. You still need to react to a lot of stuff during that truck ride, but after it's over you don't have to worry about instakill mechanics later on. Because let's be fair... the first time I went through that section I was rolling/getting rolled over a lot.

This is nothing compared to Bayonetta 1. You're given like half a second for those quick time events and if you fail them, which you fucking will (many times), it affects your end-mission score. Now _that_ is an example of a good game ruined by QTEs. Whereas I honestly completely forgot that Wet even had them.
