One time probably 7-8+ years ago I was the last alive on my team in a hellcat, doing really well. I was charging at enemy arty. Reloaded a high explosive shell, and it hit on the move at 60kph. Arty survived at 1hp, it shot, and killed me. One of the worst experiences I've ever had in the game.

I just don't pay attention to obstacles and chill. Farm a bit of credits in premium tanks for an hour, and then turn it off. In 1 hour not too much negativity to accumulate from battles.

It has gotten better. The bond tanks, the stacks and stacks of boosters, and the free premium times all made the game a lot better for me compared to some years ago. I mean, I got like almost a month of free premium times from the free crates of the current event.😊

People have been calling for years to have MM fixed to balance out the teams that are picked. If you look at the player stats of each team, you will see that one side gets stacked with good players and the other gets stuck with below average players.

Im seeing a lot of comments saying that other players shouldn't worry about stats, but that argument is like saying, "If you're sad, just stop being sad!" Telling another player who's looking to improve to "stop worrying about your stats" is disingenuous. Some players focus on their stats because they want to improve. They like climbing up the ladder. It's when they become toxic or self-destructive that it becomes a problem. I'm also not saying that not having motivation to improve is bad either. Some just wanna shoot stuff at their own leisure.

I'm not a unicum, but the last six month or so, my WN8 has been about 1800 (which should result in a WR about 55%) - but my actual win-rate won't shift above 48%. The game thinks I'm playing well, but the loss rate gets really disheartening, and I wonder if there isn't some algorithm in the matchmaker that's taken a dislike to me ... 😁

m2c: a 50% winrate (give or take) would make me quite satisfiing with myself anyway, unfortunately f*** MatchMaker finds all current worst TeamMates 2 or 3 times a week and put me together with them. Since the arty bug, back in the Pleistocene, we know the formula applied to every player is not the same. Back then, you would aim a player and the bullet could fly by even 100 meters away from reticle outbound limit. Then you changed target and no problem... Finally go back to that player, and again 100 meters away. I had some replays with it in my old computer.

I've dealt with this phenomenon by quitting the game because it's not fun at all right now. For a while, I felt as a slightly better than average casual player (WN8 1465 WR 52.4%), that I am nothing but a target for pro players in the game. Good job WG and Fdev great experience. I will never pay more for this, bad game design direction. And I'm sure pro players will say "skill issue" to that. My answer is that not everything can be a skill issue, simply that the difficulty of the game has now far exceeded average human abilities, it is too demanding, it requires too much time. Not a game at all for now, but serious work. If they want work from me, pay for it, don't expect me to pay. It's that simple.

I'm a 52/53 WR player and the majority of my gaming sessions are a bunch of losses that I have to make up to get to 50 WR. It's a test in patience if you're willing to make up that losing streak over hours and hours of tryharding. The matchmaking is so bad. I had enough and uninstalled.

I would know why this tank APCR losses only 10mm of pen at 500m and WT auf Pz IV losses 57mm at 500m. Which is the tragic problem of German APCR ammo on WT. Something needs to be fixed. I’ve started running vision on a lot of mediums. E50, M46. I feel like a lot of lights often aren’t carrying their wieght, concentrating on damage rather than spotting for others. Armour is important, sometimes teams need a motivated leader to push in and make a play.

What if winning is not everything. How about just wanting a good match with a good fight. You know, just to have fun, win or lose. Well WoT is NOT that game anymore and hasn't been for quite a few years now. On the NA server max player numbers are down to 15K on line even on weekends. MM is very poor. RNG is massively variable. 15-2 games are exceptionally common. Falling back to camp spots defending happening more often. Fun Factor drops as the money need for PTW goes up. WoT is not generally fun, its a try hard grind.

Not just the matchmaker. I get matches where no matter how hard I strategize, the game finds places to put my rounds where they always miss or bounce. Never where I am aiming. So the only pens I get are at the end of the match. Getting only 1 or 2 pens, sometimes even 0. Making all my try-hard-ing for nothing. Making no difference whether I try my hardest or just walk away after entering a match. I remember when the outer aiming circle meant there was just a *chance* that your shot would not go where you are aiming, and not a mechanic used to completely dictate how a player performs. There's no better way to make a player feel like the worst when trying their hardest doesn't result in anything. "Wow dude, you're so bad you might as well be an afk tank every match. You're just a complete waste of a player slot on a team."

I was 1w:9l last night...arggggg Interestingly the first 9 games were only 4-6 minutes long. 1 of them was 3:52 in length. Obviously speed is the dictator of WOT. Took a much needed break for an hour came back an had 4w:1l and were much better performances.

Battles are so short, that it is even difficult to do the "Do 2000 Damage in a single Battle" daily challenge on Tier 10 in less than 20 battles. Battles usually END - by END I mean "Time until everyone is back in their garage" in less than 4 minutes, at least since the WT E 100 is back. You have at least 1 platoon of 3 with this tank on each team currently. And then they just jump in there - kill 5 tanks in the the first burst deciding the battle within the first 2 minutes every single time. Its absolutely insane.

Played this game for years and am convinced WG programming is designed to keep most players at around 50%. They do this with the MM, RNG and spotting mechanic. Time and again when my WR starts to climb I always then experience a long losing streak. When falling back to near 50% I'll start winning more once again. This pattern is just too suspicious to ignore.

I say what I do say for many years: skill MM But not ELO system, more to split in 3 tiers which 2 next to each over over lap (or be one if where is not enough players). So Red player would never play with Purple/Unique player. Anybody who saying "he can learn" I would say if he want, he would watch videos and tutorials, and not all people care about stats, or they are children which... don't care to.

I stopped playing years ago, the matchmaking code is total crap. There are many obvious ways to improve it. I'm a programmer and it was very frustrating to see such bad code in action. Even if I played consistently well above my usual I could not get wins over long periods or time.

No, when the Game Pisses me Off that Much, I Close the Client and Leave, Mid Game or Not... This is NOT My Job, I have one of those... This MAY be Your Job but I'm not here for Stat's, Pay, or Whatever... I'm here to have a Good Game and if the Team isn't Gonna Play, I'm not gonna Bail them Out.. I'll Chuck'em Under the Big Red Bus and get another Team until it Appears that there won't be any Teams worth Working With... I'll Give them whatever Advantage I can on my way Out, but after that, if they want it, they'll have to Earn It themselves... I'm only playing for the Credits at that Point and I'll get those Regardless if they Win or Lose... So many Players anymore have no Idea how the Game Works being Pushed into the Higher Tiers by WG, or Buying every "OP/Meta" Premium that someone Tells them is the Key to an Easy Win or a Must Have... Doesn't Matter if the Tank is OP if the Player hasn't the Skills to Use it, and a Fully Capable Tank Not Played at All by Hiding/Camping in the Back is Worse than one Played Badly in the Front Line... The Grind is all but Gone, and that was the School we learned to Play the Game In... I've not Ground thru alotta the New Lines and WG's Unlocked alotta the Tanks already, I just need to Buy the Tanks and Grind some Modules to Move Up to at least Tier 8 or 9 in alot of them... And as MUCH as I want to Grind some of those Lines, I haven't Bothered because there's no Credits in the Tech Tree anymore, and the Teams aren't Good Enough to be Grinding With... So I'll stay on my Premiums and Wait for a Reasonable Team to come Along so I can Play the Game...

World of tanks has pushed me too far in many ways. Horrible balancing practices, Gold ammo, Gambling boxes, Black market, Limited vehicles, Low credit gain, Extremely bad maps, and WG's insistence on making the game worse with every update. I'm lucky if I even play the game once a month anymore. Its not fun anymore, the power creep and WG have ruined this game. It will take a lot for me to come back.

It's during low population on North America i see a back and forth of one sided ROLFSTOMP's as the server does it's utmost to pull players to 50% depending on their win ratio. It's infuriating if you don't view thru a comedic commercial lens from WG revenue perspective. Play a match take a break periodically or the game will drive you mad.

"Couldn't get above 50% win rate" - Vickers 3 gets some bad MM with bad WR, my Leopard 1 is 60%, Vickers is 53%. I've aced Leopard 5 times during 200 battles, and was lucky to ace Vickers once after 250

This the least fu moment, real fu moments are rng low rolls and misses as well as penetrations and bounces,(my Vipera gun mantle with 310 armor got penned by a standard round (240 pen) of obj 752 , it was a 0.2% chance)

Many users have evolved quickly with the help of GOLD, reaching Tier 10 tanks without having the talent ,skill or the idea of ​​strategy, and you see on matchmaking ... sometime you lose game after game , how they sit and wait away from the battle...they are snipers with Tier 10 heavy tanks I think it's a pleasure to play with Tier 5-6 tanks instead of Tier 10...it's more fun... you know what to expect, maybe old style

Yeah I know QB is way better than me, I'm a ~55% WR player only, but still, sometimes the game just doesn't want you to win, shots go wide, but all enemies get miracle shots on you, bad teams, everything all at once.

Do you actually know what you are talking about? WOT has no win rate. That win rate is a construct form a fan site, in which only CC are interested. In WOT it is called victory rate, and that is the relation between lost and won battles, and that is a team result, where a single player has only 1 of 15 influence, which is basically nothing. So if you are paired all day long with bad players, you can never produce a better victory rate, not even if you are superman. You can never change the victory rate, you can only hope that your higher contribution is picked up by the team and so it goes. If the MM and rng in this game is not manipulated, statistically over a long time, you end up always at 50%, simply because one day superman is in the green team, next time in the red. That supposed to balance up!! If not, you fall for manipulations by the server giving you player mates deviating from average. And if you want 100% victory rate, very easy: You play only one battle per day, do not drive out, do not shoot, and hope that that one battle is a win for the team. Then you can boast that you have 100% victory rate. Or win rate, whatever statistic nonsense that is. If you want to look for good players doing a fair amount fight, look for their XP first, not damage. Because the stats player play on cost of their team, no support, only high damage for themselves, even if the battle goes lost because of that and 14 others have a low victory rate now. THEY have high damage, and stream only that.

You're not good enough and don't do enough during most battles to place the blame on your teams like that. This is why the likes of Daki and Skillz are just lightyears above you. With you, everything is high stress, being pushed to the maximum of your nature skill ceiling to MAYBE get the win, and taking a lot more battles to mark a tank or do the correct play whereas with them it's just way more nature, easy and without breaking a sweat...

The last year for me it's been World of Streaks, usually bad. Way too many blowouts. Now I believe and play as if there is literally no connection between how I play and win/loss results. Like sitting down to roll 2 dice and whoever rolls the higher number wins. I usually don't get angry at rng, a tank, a map, but it's usually teammates. You know the guy that sits behind you, don't take shots, don't take hits, don't push, dont peak... ends battles with 788 dmg 0 kills, and a loss. Yet he's guy hitting HELP! at end of the battle when 3 teammates are left alive.

I have been playing green wn8 for the past month but yesterday I got trolled by the matchmaker really hard. I had to play against tier 10 twice in a row in the bc 12t and to top it off I got tier 10 again for the third time on himmelsdorf... Needless to say I lost all 3 games and after playing 11 games in multiple tanks and tiers, I managed to get 1 win out of 11 games... My rng was horrible, my teammates all die within 5 min and there was nothing I could do to win some games. I managed to win some games later after taking a break but my wr that evening was 33%...

This is an everyday play game for the last year, how many algorithms do they run on each player? I can see the change in the games the better I get the harder it is to play and maintain. Ive played since 2011 and can not get 50%. i have had 21 losses in a row. MM is not working.

When a 0.24 accurate gun decides to magically miss multiple times in a row despite the dpm and overall tank stats being 'balanced' around how accurate it is. It is excessively annoying.

It's a bit disingenuous mate. Decision making is definitely a thing, hence why some have 40% win rate while another has 60%, but all you're doing in this vid is showcasing how some maps have absolutely broken amounts of bush cover around their caps whereby the team that wins the flank gets wrecked by the miserable negative bush-fappers that just hang around their cap and redline with a massive advantage over the advancing enemy that advance into kill-zones. Same as the bs we see on the east spawn of Steppes and what used to be brutal on the east spawn of Mountain Pass to name just a few of many such maps. It rewards low risk negativity and these positions are so broken that we now see players go to these locations immediately at the start of the battle, happy to surrender huge amounts of map control and happy to let their team melt while they just sit their camping, doing nothing and waiting for the "victorious" enemy tanks to walk into a death trap. To see that miserable, negative bs rewarded is just disappointing but that's the game we have at the moment.

Bro the biggest bullshit you can have in WoT is this winrate and other stats bullshit. This only ruins the game like wtf WG. When I start a session in WoT, I want to relax, have fun, shoot some tanks, make some jokes, not obsess over my performance, like having a second job, WG take a fucking note.

I have found that i dont worry about winrate so much and just focus on my own performance. I try to win but if the game says no all i do is take a moment to think what i could have done better. This has greatly improved my performance. You cant change others but you can change your self. I dont really like playing tier 10 but reacently i finaly got the udes 15/16 and it is a beast of a tank. Sneaky, mobile, armored and packs a hell of a punch. Slowly climbing to be my most played tank and when all seems to go wrong my go to tank now days.

Was on winning teams 5 out of 24 games yesterday Didn't matter if I did good or poorly. But hey, they don't rig games. Every time that happens it just makes me resolve to never spend a dime on it.

yesterday me and my friend had around 20 battles, and won 15 out of them, so a 75% win rate basically. but in doing so, some random shmuck got angry at us during one of the few losses we had and said "lol, 20% winrate plebian" confused, i asked him what he was on about. found out he uses an illegal mod, reported him and today onwards, he is perma banned lol. he apparently got perma'd because he lost his shit when he was banned for 2 weeks initially, and let his anger out on War Gaming lol.

Decisions made "multiple times throughout the battle". The NA Zerg rush pandemic means theres one chance usually within 3.5 minutes. the long game is rare these days, thats what pisses most players off.

Wargaming is not able to make a proper mm and tripled the speed of the battles 15*0-3 wins or losses 3 times more consumables its all about money in the end. The point is I only play LT before I had 57% winrate nowadays 50% so........ LT became useless

I stopped really caring about my win rate and just do my best. Yeah, winning is nice and all, but it’s a game. One of the sides loses unless there is a draw which are few and far between. I just play enjoying the fact that I am rolling around in a tank shooting at other tanks and have way more fun now than I did a decade ago when I was playing in competitive clans and worrying about what other people were doing. It’s a game. Chill and enjoy it.

Loosing by couple of tanks does not frustrate so much. It's the 1-15, 3-15 battles which make me stop playing for a while. Over last 1000 battles had 53.21% win rate. You don't even know how many days did struggle to keep win rate over 30%. Especially when had a daily mission to win 4 battles... Not only the team did evaporate in matter of seconds, but my tank could not hit a fully aimed shots (for example 9 shells, 3 hits, 1 pen)... On other days I am sure that opposite team has such experience, I bounce in CS-52C twice from FV4005 and hit on the move not aimed shots... There are more often the battles, where feel that skill does not matter so much as a luck. I don't want to survive only because had a luck and same way don't want to be loosing because of RNG.

Rng for pen ahould only exist at long range, disperssion should be like 10%, after all wind changes trajectory BUT usually only at 1000 meters or more and wot maps are small

Same thing i say as i line up my perfectly aimmed shot with a tank with .3 accuracy at the side of a kv2 who is moving just to have said shot eat dirt and the kv snap me and kill me. Or even better, when 2 min into the battle 3 of my teammates are alredy dead and its gg from there.....

I have 4 thousand battles, a wot rating of 7.5k, yet a win ration of 46%. On most sessions, i average over 8000 wr and in the top 3 of my tea, yet my wr is always so low. Not my fault

Unfortunately I think if you get even 2 or 3 of the stronger tanks hanging towards the back, everyone else becomes reluctant to push forward into good positions & you end up getting pinned and overcome very quickly

I do this all the time, pushing a flank only to realize I'm the only one. Really annoying! Like you said, it doesn't mean the game is lost, only that you will get wiped out in one minute. Sometimes it can be smart to fall back on a flank and bait the enemy team into overextending.

I keep trying to start the game but the enemy just goes to one flank I just either don't end up being able to deal damage or just get killed. I am begginer with around 500 battles. The game is brutal for begginers. I keep deleting the game out of frustration.

In my opinion win rate is not that important as personal result,because you can win 10/10 battle ,but only like green stat or you can loose 10/10 ,but as a purple player

does anything else have issues with the vickers mk3 and being able to have the crew trained on the vehicle (yes yes i know you dont have a transfer penalty) but i cant use crew books on the crew in the tank because i cant reassign them to the vehicle.

WOT is about as realistic as me waking up next to a supermodel.......most people attracted to playing the game want to live out their war fantasies but to win or achieve high ratings in this game you have to run away and let other people die for you, not what people have been raised to do when they are trying to be the hero. It is without a doubt the weirdest online multiplayer game that promotes feeding your team mates to the enemies to win........weird.
