So a company can discriminate against you were you lose everything and you have a 50/50 chance winning a discrimination case on top of if you win your case ,you won't win enough to make up for what they did? If that makes sense

Settlements generally don't set you up for life. But they are generally in line with how the people the U.S. population elected think you should be compensated and wrote the laws. So I guess it depends on who you ask as to whether or not the company made up for what they did to you. To my mind, damages should be higher.

You are also not discussing that a very small percentage of cases go to trial, and a high percentage settle before going to court. Companies don’t want the bad publicity.

Two-part question... If your case is out there, should you then just go to trial, as you have nothing to lose at this point?
@JobAttorney2 жыл бұрын
That's a complex question, the answer will be very case specific. Largely tied to how much risk your case might experience a trial.

Can you break a NDA my previous employer said they would sue me for defamation. What are the steps to break a NDA
@JobAttorney2 жыл бұрын
I'll make you a video, but you're going to need to have local counsel review the NDA for you to get an idea as to how you might be able to break it

Sir, I filed a prior eeoc case n it mentioned sexual harassment but they closed it because I didn't have enough proof but t investigator did make them increase my pay. Now that I have a 2nd case on them w proof of sexual harassment and then ignoring me. The company sent a rebuttal denying they new. I uploaded the 1st paperwork to my 2nd case letting t 2nd eeoc investigator know they did have knowledge does that help my case.

Evidence from your first case may be useful background information, but you'll need evidence of the specific events you are alleging in your second case.
