What you said in the end of the video made me cry and realize it is true.. we only have now and ,,maybe one day in the future I will be happy" is as you said toxic, we have to take full advantage of our lives NOW :) while it is important reaching our goals, but the ones which are really in alingnment with us and they are guiding us to be our better selves. Living the life what you live, rural life is a dream of many of us, well, even hiking or just simply to be surrounded by nature where we can heal and be our best versions, to return what we truly need. Thank you for showing the life so simple yet so beautiful and cherishing for the soul, we can learn from it so much and apply those simple things in our life, you are a great reminder for us to focus on the priorities which are the simplest and yet the most beautiful things :) ♥

Loved this. Reminded me of my Aunt Marilyn. She always made apple butter every year. It was SO good. It was one of my all time favorite things ever. She would also make homemade blackberry jelly. She would put some in a bowl and stir a little fresh butter into it. Then we would dip her homemade biscuits into it. Two of the best things and memories ever from my childhood staying at their home. Sadly she passed away a couple of years ago. I miss her horribly. Treasure it all. It goes by so damn quickly. TFS.

I'm also in a similar period of change and in awe of the beauty of the natural surroundings that I get to witness and experience every day. When you were harvesting those rasberries and making that jam it reminded me of an old poem I read somewhere that said the best things in life arrive when they are meant to and those rasberries shook off the branch like they were meant to. As I look around the room I'm in now I'm reminded that all of nature is in a constant state of growth just like your videos. Thank you for being such a light Izzy you are the cabbage to my cap chay.

Content ideas- I don't think you realize how extraordinary your editing skills are, or even setting up shots etc... I could literally watch you clean your kitchen and be just as content. I wouldn't mind some videos that were a recipe or cooking with you or even just watching you cook something beginning to end with music in the background. A soap making video. I'd love a whole cabin cleaning before the winter video. Again, bc your natural ability to make a shot, I'd watch it even if it was an hour time lapsed with music. I wouldn't mind you making a to do-list and we follow you down it. Just like... flies on the all. Excited for the sewing project/loom projects that winter will bring 🥰 I think we're happier with simple than you think. But I'm hard on myself too, so I get it.

As far as a driveway goes, it doesn't have to go all the way to the tiny house, so long as it gives you a safe place to park your vehicles off the main road. So decide how far you want to go in, and then cover that area in gravel. and that should get you through this winter. You can always expand it in the future. I hope that is a helpful thought.

The final line made me cry because it's so true. When I was unhappy, I used to have the idea that once I do this, I'll be happy, and when I do things later, I feel like this is it; I'm meant to be happy. However, the important thing is to be present and grateful. I've been watching Isabel for years since she started this channel, and while I still aspire to be like her, I do so in my own unique way. She may not be aware of the impact she has, particularly on women in their early 20s. I adore her.

Hi Isabel - you could possibly invest in your own snow blowing machine and do your own driveway. That is a great long term solution. Not sure costs of having someone plough your driveway each time, each year, plus what it would cost to widen your driveway. Plus, you would then have a machine that you could make use of all year long for projects around the farm. It sounds like you have a lot of family that uses that land, so everyone could chip in on the machine, and chip in on ploughing the driveway as well. We have a bobcat (skid steer) with a snowblower attachment and it is amazing. We live in upwards of 6’ of snow each winter. And the bobcat is an essential tool around our property all year long. I think a tractor or a backhoe could also be a great option. Good luck in finding a solution! ❤

Im not meant to be working a 9-5 everyday. I wasnt born onto this beautiful world for that. I want to live a live that im happy with, close to animals and nature, my two favorite things. Being independend and making everything on my own. I know that thats pretty hard and not all rainbow, but its a million times better than wasting the 80 years we have to live. We only live once, and I want to make it worth. I absoloutely love your livestyle and I desperately want to live the same! Isabel Don’t ever forget you’re the storyteller that we all love ❤️, and the beauty comes out in your videos even when you don’t know it. I appreciate it! There is something said about living with quiet and solitude, and leaving the rush of this crazy world behind. Understandable that you may not always want to be making Content and participating in this electronic game. Your stories are magic though and I sincerely hope you continue on this path. I highly advise hiring someone to come put your driveway in, it is totally worth the money spent. An add on to the tiny house or plan for a bigger house. These are things that are so worth your money. Looks like Cole never moved into his house so maybe you can take it over! Thank you for all you do❤️

In sweden something that is used a lot is a "snow-thrower". It is like a snow vaccum that runs on gas/diesel that come in all sizes, for using by hand or by a tractor. Many use the little one for driveways and they are not very expensive. Maybe you could put your car on the part that you clear. Or/and buy a snowmobile. A one only made for some easy commuting and no tecnical mountain driving is not very expensive either, and there are sleds for them to bring all your stuff in.

Isabel, So you have read or studied the teachings of RAM DOS. I got turned on to Rom Dos back in the late 60s early 70s. Be here now. Experience this moment. We can never get it back. Now is what we have and it's devine. Loved the video. I love Fall probably more than any time of year. The Apple butter took me back to younger days when my ppl, who ran a farm, had Apple trees, pear trees, Apricots, Cherries, goose berries. We harvested it all. Lol. Green beans, tomatoes, homemade pickles sweet and dill. What a good life Isabel. We shared alot of our harvest and used our canned goods all winter. We raised livestock so, we had fresh meats, smoked meat from our smoke house and we kept all sorts of meats just inside town in a meat locker, who butchered our meat and packed it for us. We raised hogs so, we had fresh pork and chicken. I don't remember going to the grocery store for anything really but we must have had to have some things like yeast for bread and gelatin. My uncle would make black strap Mallasses every fall. Again. Loved the video. It's work Isabel as you know but it's good work. Thanks for taking me along on your journey.❤

I really want to suggest a tractor with a plow, some of the small ones are very, very efficient, small and offer a lot of work load. 200cc UTV With Snow Plow ATV (an example), depending on your vehicle perhaps a snow plow attachment, or perhaps a truck for winter. There are many ways to consider doing an exchange perhaps for the winter months with someone more in town. Just thinking outside the box.

🍂The most memorable time in my life was house sitting for two years at my ex in-laws cabin in the rural area of Sedro-Woolley WA, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking and during the fall season my ex love, our two sons and I would visit the Alpaca ranch while drinking hot cider. We also enjoyed watching the deers drink from the creek alongside the cabin and the bats were intriguing to look at as well as the stars. Your lifestyle is so beautifully romantic and refreshing to watch. Peace and love. 🌼 Happy upcoming Fall. 🍃 🍂 🍁

Thank you I needed that - my life is so blessed and I always fall in the trap that I think I have to do this and that to feel fulfilled - but I have everything already - thank you for reminding me - you and your life is sooo beautiful inspiring ❤

Reading comments I found that chores, making food from scratch, preserving, doing laundry, and cleaning.... excite many people here and not just me :) It melts my heart. I'm watching Isabel not because I want to live her life but because l love mine and I can relate to her. It also feels good to know that there are many people who live simply and really enjoy it. No matter how tiring it might be sometimes, it feeds our spirits. 🌽🥬🌲🌿🍃

I love your videos, you are so brave and accomplished. You have been talking about your small space. How about adding onto your space? A bigger bedroom and convert your deck into a living room. Your old bedroom could turn into a dinning space surrounded by your beautiful books. Just a thought.🌈
