Build a greenhouse out in the garden. It will give you a place to hang out in the winter that's warm, sunny, and a place to prepare for spring, getting a jump start on the garden. A place that is flooded in light, which is what your spirit needs to feel normal.

One of the greatest lessons I learned was never to beat yourself up for doing what feels right in the moment. Society likes to make us feel guilt for laying around all day and reading books, but that's crap I say! Spending some time to rest and give your mind and body a break, to escape in to a different form of art, should never make one feel ashamed or guilty. Period. Thanks for sharing that you also sometimes just feel like laying around and reading - makes you more human 🤗🤗

Hi Isabel, watching u run through those mountains and really feeling happy and full of life, reminds me of my youth, back in Europe, in the small island that I was born myself and my siblings we would run through the mountains. Those days we had no toys, and that was our play ground, beautiful nature, flowers, and trees tall and easy for us to climb. We used to cut pinecones and eat the pinenuts it was a treat. It was wonderful and free life. Now I’m 70 still in good health. You are a marvel not too many girls today will do what you do you’re amazing keep it up and if you feel out of sorts sometimes it’s OK. You’re so creative and beautiful in everything you do. You’re amazing I love watching you. Have a wonderful day.

@huilang838 Hello :) I started off producing when I was about 16-17, (10 years ago) and after a few years I started to perform on my beats. I started out with like 50 monthly listeners on Spotify, kept being consistent and improved a lot. Today I'm sitting at over 13 million overall streams, 60,000 monthly listeners with over 400,00 monthly streams on Spotify, and about a million on KZbin and otherplatforms. This brings in about 3+k a month! I have never paid for any promotion or big equipment, I bought a cheap mic for around $60 when I first started and still have the same one. Focus on consistency and improvement and people will notice!
@betbaker3479 Жыл бұрын
@huilang838 hello just start making your music on KZbin or rumble (I think that's it's called) videos.... If you're good people will find you and you have followers. Which in turn makes your money and you can produce your own style of music. People can buy your music through a merch store you create on different venues. I was listening to a song writer the other day and he was saying record producers and the normal media is regulating what they can say in their songs nowadays. So if you want to have your own music and be heard just get it on the internet. Your people will find you.😊

I know exactly what you mean. It is so hard to get creative while in a slump. I’ve actually had creative blocks that lasted close to a year. I found doing a brain dump on paper burning it, sometimes therapy and definitely walking in nature will always help or any type of exercise is great. I found when I’m really down just doing a visualization then painting whatever comes to mind just random favorite colors. Doing it with no rules or pressure, lol knowing it could be the ugliest thing I put on canvas and just be okay with it. Because it’s what’s in my heart that causing a blockage and that could be gunk. It feels so good to just freely paint or write with no limitations or perfection and just be grateful for it. Sending you love sweet Isabel and thank you for a beautiful video today. ❤😊

Good one, Isabel! It's better to regret what you did do, than regret what you didn't do, for sure. At almost 60 years, most of my fondest memories are from adventures that started with curiosity, moved on to a dream, involved some sort of fear or worry, and finally finished with profound relief.

Zooming out, changing my envoronment, just doing something different always help me out of this rut as well. Perhaps when we stop viewing intermittent down times and depressive states as problems instead of opportunities to wind down, consult our inner being, consider our lives, times of learning, etc then we can relax those mindful muscles that keep us feeling overwhelmed at times. Everything we experience is part of living, so why not embrace it all as part of the human experience without beating ourselves into guilt for having done so. Just be, Isa, just be.
@galapagos1809 Жыл бұрын
Part of your thought monologue early in this vid is just everything...literally, the key to everything: "We tend to overcomplicate everything in life I feel like and really all it takes sometimes is just like a small change. And I think sometimes when I'm feeling upset or down it feels like my mind wants to create a reason that's outside of myself, a problem in my external world; but really it's just a problem inside of myself. I don't have to change anything on the outside, I just have to change my mind. ... Because having that power, we can completely transform our life by just thinking better thoughts, being more grateful for what we have. I think it's really powerful--we don't actually change anything in our external reality, all we have to do is change our minds." "The Law of One" in disguise and sooooo on point. The key to literally everything that we could ever imagine is found right here in our thoughts. We are one, we are all there is. Thank you for your candor, clarity and simplicity. You single-handedly elevate this place and we are grateful.

You've inspired me as well through the way you tell the stories of your life, and it's incredible to see how your skill and style have evolved over time. I am grateful for your insight and inspiration, so cheers and thank you, Isabel ❤ P.S. if you did a masterclass or something similar about how you make your videos (camera gear, etc), I would be very very stoked to know more. A creek, animals, nature and peace. It’s amazing. Most days I sit on my porch with my coffee and oatmeal and enjoy the view, the sounds, the animals… I fill my bird feeders, water flowers, journal or read…. 💡🌟💡 *HERE'S AN IDEA* ...As for your own art studio, could you add on to your tiny house? You & your dad made installing the widow look so easy, what's a few more feet for a doorway? If the new room couldn't be raised, you could do a step down for a sunken room. It could serve multiple purposes, including more room for Black cat to roam (since she'll be indoors more often in winter months), and a room for guests. It could save on heating costs and you wouldn't feel so enclosed having the enlarged area. You are so creative, I'm sure you could figure something out. (Happy Black is enjoying the catnip you so lovingly planted 💚🖤).

I am glad to hear you want to stay the winter in your tiny home, I think it would be totally ok for you to order a little shed or something you can work with, without so much work. Maybe a pre fab, why not. I know you are a purist, but for the winter space it may be worth it to just get something quick and easy. We won't be mad. I think you will be fine as long as you have your space to do your yoga, art, sewing, knitting, and weaving, Your winter could be magical, You will prob need another Jackery but you Got this. The cake was just glorious, I can just imagine how amazing it tastes. It was beautiful. Your magical!

Watching Isabel eating oatmeal reminded me of when I changed my diet to be more bland and healthy, and the big thing I wasn't expecting was how much I noticed the strong tastes of good homemade food and that I can't eat the vast majority of fast food/junk food anymore. 😅 I kinda miss mcdonalds sometimes and Dominos but I think that's mostly nostalgia

i completely resonate with your feelings on the winter blues, I also find myself wanting to fly away somewhere after about 2 months of winter, but equally, I love being at home - its such a conundrum1! Have you ever thought about doing a remodel, or some DIY projects t the house on your property? as a second best to building yourself another (not so tiny) tiny home, perhaps you could modify the house more to your liking? it may get rid of those damn ants as well :P

I have an interview tomorrow for a second job and I’m so excited for the change of pace. After watching you bake bread these past couple weeks I’m so excited to learn how to bake bread too at this new place. Even though I’ll be busier than ever , like you said our mindset is all we need to change our experience. When I’m feeling tired I hope I have the clarity to remember how bless I am for this new learning opportunity. Thank you again for another inspirational video and safe travels 🫶🏼

In a space in time where we are so depleted of chances to make True friends that you truly resonate with in a deep level this content fills that void a lil bit, don’t underestimate your work in this platform even when you think what you are doing is not ‘’creative” it means a lot ! !

I really think a snowmobile would help so much in the winter. We all go through ups and downs, no matter what time of year it is. 🌻👣

Good idea, and do not loose your Sled! You honestly need a work shed. I thought you built one like last year. Also something to protect your hose better, so your hose doesn't freeze, I was so sad for you when you were sick and that happened.

Nesse vídeo, vem a mim muitos bons sentimentos... A relação sua harmônica com a natureza, é uma sensação dentro desses sentimentos. São as belezas que a natureza nos proporciona e você cuidando dela e se nutrindo também dela, de certa forma, nos transmite uma relação agradável ... Até outra boa oportunidade!

Summer lull is real, y'all! I notice deep in Summer and Winter I just get down and hibernative. Just as trees and plants need time to rest and regenerate, so too, do we!

I am absolutely in love with this vlog! I have just gotten out of a rut and this has been refreshing to watch. I also have grown herbs this year, & they do taste so good! Even when dried, they just taste fresher & more amazing than store bought ones. I'm gonna have to try my hand at making beauty products from them!
