Build a greenhouse out in the garden. It will give you a place to hang out in the winter that's warm, sunny, and a place to prepare for spring, getting a jump start on the garden. A place that is flooded in light, which is what your spirit needs to feel normal.

One of the greatest lessons I learned was never to beat yourself up for doing what feels right in the moment. Society likes to make us feel guilt for laying around all day and reading books, but that's crap I say! Spending some time to rest and give your mind and body a break, to escape in to a different form of art, should never make one feel ashamed or guilty. Period. Thanks for sharing that you also sometimes just feel like laying around and reading - makes you more human 🤗🤗

Hi Isabel, watching u run through those mountains and really feeling happy and full of life, reminds me of my youth, back in Europe, in the small island that I was born myself and my siblings we would run through the mountains. Those days we had no toys, and that was our play ground, beautiful nature, flowers, and trees tall and easy for us to climb. We used to cut pinecones and eat the pinenuts it was a treat. It was wonderful and free life. Now I’m 70 still in good health. You are a marvel not too many girls today will do what you do you’re amazing keep it up and if you feel out of sorts sometimes it’s OK. You’re so creative and beautiful in everything you do. You’re amazing I love watching you. Have a wonderful day.

If you dont mind me asking, how do you get to make music for a living, i also have this interest lately but i always think its always almost impossible unless you have the stars aligning. What would i have to do to make it for a living like how do you get started, do you find a producer or can you make it on ur own as well?

@@huilang838 Hello :) I started off producing when I was about 16-17, (10 years ago) and after a few years I started to perform on my beats. I started out with like 50 monthly listeners on Spotify, kept being consistent and improved a lot. Today I'm sitting at over 13 million overall streams, 60,000 monthly listeners with over 400,00 monthly streams on Spotify, and about a million on KZbin and otherplatforms. This brings in about 3+k a month! I have never paid for any promotion or big equipment, I bought a cheap mic for around $60 when I first started and still have the same one. Focus on consistency and improvement and people will notice!
@betbaker3479
@betbaker3479 Жыл бұрын
@huilang838 hello just start making your music on KZbin or rumble (I think that's it's called) videos.... If you're good people will find you and you have followers. Which in turn makes your money and you can produce your own style of music. People can buy your music through a merch store you create on different venues. I was listening to a song writer the other day and he was saying record producers and the normal media is regulating what they can say in their songs nowadays. So if you want to have your own music and be heard just get it on the internet. Your people will find you.😊

I live in a yurt with no way of cooling, all spring I was having anxieties of the summer and the heat it would bring and how it would be impossible to be in my home. God has showed me that all my anxieties were for nothing, the heat has allowed me to be outside more and worry less about the chores around my house. It has allowed me to give a summer to my daughter that’s filled with river days and time spent at the library and with good friends. God uses everything, including our anxieties to bloom something beautiful ❤️❤️

I know exactly what you mean. It is so hard to get creative while in a slump. I’ve actually had creative blocks that lasted close to a year. I found doing a brain dump on paper burning it, sometimes therapy and definitely walking in nature will always help or any type of exercise is great. I found when I’m really down just doing a visualization then painting whatever comes to mind just random favorite colors. Doing it with no rules or pressure, lol knowing it could be the ugliest thing I put on canvas and just be okay with it. Because it’s what’s in my heart that causing a blockage and that could be gunk. It feels so good to just freely paint or write with no limitations or perfection and just be grateful for it. Sending you love sweet Isabel and thank you for a beautiful video today. ❤😊

Why did the end of this make me cry!? I feel so much resonance with what you shared. I go through these cycles as well of feeling upset about things in life (for probably longer than is useful) and stay in the mode of "processing" for a bit too long sometimes, forgetting that if I want to change the energy, it's up to me. Zooming out, changing my envoronment, just doing something different always help me out of this rut as well. A message I received this week from someone else I watch on YT: "a grategul heart will get you anywhere" and I find so much truth in this. Anywhere can be a state of being as well. Sending love and thank you so much for sharing these moments with us

This may sound a little "woo woo" but there are "external" energies that affect us, so if we are struggling, feeling sad, depressed or whatever (as long as it doesn't last more than some weeks, unless you're going through dark night of the soul, which is another story) it's likely to do with natural cycles that we go through as humans. Cosmic energies and the movements of the planets, moon phase and all affect us. For the past 1-2 weeks we have been integrating some intense high vibrational energies that are coming to the planet, and that can feel heavy. But even when the source of the heaviness is "external", in reality it is all happening inside us and it is our job to integrate/shift/grow/flow with all of it.
@hcarlt

@@StardustEarthing yes of course! i didn’t want do deny that! i can just say from experience that sometimes it feels overwhelming when people say „it’s basically so easy to focus on the beauty of life“ or „you just have to think something different“ or anything like that. sometimes we need a little help from outside to even see our inside and shift focus / energies etc. - i hope it did not come across as me saying everyone who has a bad day is sick or sth like that. just if you find yourself not coming out of a dark place it is okay too seek support :)

Perhaps when we stop viewing intermittent down times and depressive states as problems instead of opportunities to wind down, consult our inner being, consider our lives, times of learning, etc then we can relax those mindful muscles that keep us feeling overwhelmed at times. Everything we experience is part of living, so why not embrace it all as part of the human experience without beating ourselves into guilt for having done so. Just be, Isa, just be.

Great question Isabel. I’d say you can change your environment, sometimes experiencing new surroundings can offer fresh perspectives and ignite new ideas. You can also explore other art forms and look for inspiration in different artistic disciplines. For example, if you were a painter, you could try listening to music or reading poetry. Cross-pollinating ideas from various art forms can lead to unique creations. Learn something new through classes or workshops. It sure can inspire your primary art form. Reflect on past work as that can help you see your artistic journey more clearly. And lastly you can just “Take A Break” to relax and rejuvenate. Love your work, you are amazing!

💡🌟💡 *HERE'S AN IDEA* ...As for your own art studio, could you add on to your tiny house? You & your dad made installing the widow look so easy, what's a few more feet for a doorway? If the new room couldn't be raised, you could do a step down for a sunken room. It could serve multiple purposes, including more room for Black cat to roam (since she'll be indoors more often in winter months), and a room for guests. It could save on heating costs and you wouldn't feel so enclosed having the enlarged area. You are so creative, I'm sure you could figure something out. (Happy Black is enjoying the catnip you so lovingly planted 💚🖤).

I’ve definitely learned to flow with life. If I feel uninspired, or sad, or anxious, or tired, or like I just want to sleep for a week, I just go with it. I live in a cottage in the hills. A creek, animals, nature and peace. It’s amazing. Most days I sit on my porch with my coffee and oatmeal and enjoy the view, the sounds, the animals… I fill my bird feeders, water flowers, journal or read…. I will be out there for two or three hours! We don’t have to be busy, or creative, or producing, every minute. Just BE.

“I am alive, and that is a miracle” really spoke to me right now with where I’m at in my life. I’ve been so stressed out recently about things which really aren’t in my control and this was exactly the reminder I needed to just step back and realize what a life I have. Thank you Isabel!🤍

As a full time artist I understand these times of nothingness like a void, it can really throw us off but its part of the ebb and flow.. its probably highly unrealistic to be able to keep creating without stillness between, and I have come to know for sure that stillness is necessary to allow space for something new to enter.. I have experienced this for months on end, and now I trust that a new surge of creative energy will emerge.. you are very in tune with nature and yourself, and you are inspiring to me and hopefully the younger generation with your zest and capacity to be so self sufficient and living a conscious life in these times.. thank you.. blessings from New Zealand.

Isabel, see if you can get a small pre-fab house on sale at Home Depot or Lowe's maybe in November. You could put that together really quickly and put some insulation on the walls, it could probably big enough for just you. You could bring your generator and a little heater and work on crafts. Can you give some cooking classes at a nearby store to get yourself out of the house? Give some talks at a library about building a you tube channel. Go sing with Logan at a nearby coffee house. It's a place everyone goes to during the winter to get out. Plan now for the winter!! Have a good trip!!!

It's nice to hear the exact same words I hear in my own head: "The sheer fact that we are together here in this moment is a miracle and it is so beautiful we are alive, it is just in and of itself a miracle". Thank you, Isabel for raising that awareness. P.S.: the cake is incredibly lovely. Request for more cat content. I love the black guy)

Safe travels Isabel. ...you should get a four wheeler for snow removal this winter. Attach a plow,that way you could have more freedom, park your car closer to the house.. Also, maybe a yurt could work for a quick art studio? Maybe schedule a few outtings every couple weeks to break up the winter. ❤❤❤

I've been watching your videos A LOT recently (in chronological order) and I just love how you really remind me that, yes, I am living my dream life; its all about how I look at my life and choosing to have gratitude for what I get to do each day. I get to choose to allow the joy that I feel to be pervasive, to laugh and smile whenever I feel the joy appear. You've inspired me as well through the way you tell the stories of your life, and it's incredible to see how your skill and style have evolved over time. I am grateful for your insight and inspiration, so cheers and thank you, Isabel ❤ P.S. if you did a masterclass or something similar about how you make your videos (camera gear, etc), I would be very very stoked to know more. There is a fire in my heart to make videos (about horticulture, which is my passion), and the way you paint your stories with camera and audio is really inspiring to me. I'd be sooo stoked to see a bit of behind-the-scenes on it. Cheers, and thank you for everything, Molly

Watching Isabel eating oatmeal reminded me of when I changed my diet to be more bland and healthy, and the big thing I wasn't expecting was how much I noticed the strong tastes of good homemade food and that I can't eat the vast majority of fast food/junk food anymore. 😅 I kinda miss mcdonalds sometimes and Dominos but I think that's mostly nostalgia

Nesse vídeo, vem a mim muitos bons sentimentos... A relação sua harmônica com a natureza, é uma sensação dentro desses sentimentos. São as belezas que a natureza nos proporciona e você cuidando dela e se nutrindo também dela, de certa forma, nos transmite uma relação agradável ... Até outra boa oportunidade!

I think there's a lot to be said about not identifying with our thoughts. Thoughts/ego can be a wonderful tool to point us towards healing/growth that is still to come. We aren't our thoughts or our brains. Our thoughts and brains are a tool that can guide us. When we live with curiosity about our thoughts rather than identifying with them, we can grow so much.

Good idea, and do not loose your Sled! You honestly need a work shed. I thought you built one like last year. Also something to protect your hose better, so your hose doesn't freeze, I was so sad for you when you were sick and that happened.

Creativity is not linear. It doesn't grow or continue in a straight line, it surges and explodes and then can go dormant for weeks or months or years. That's why most bands first two or three albums are great and the later ones often suck. You can't force creativity because then it just ends up feeling forced. You have to let it do its thing and just keep thinking about things you want to try and then try them. As long as you're never bored then you'll never run out of creative things to do. If you sit around your tiny house all winter then do textiles, knit and do all that stuff you like to do inside. My mom and grandma made afghans and croochet and all sorts of cool stuff over the winter. Nothing stir crazy about that at all.

For us it is the exact opposite. We're literally counting the days until finally Autumn is here. Summer is the worst. We can't do anything. All is warm, every furniture, cloths. You sweat all the time. All you touch is sticky. You can't sleep. Nothing makes fun. We get so depressed during those months. Every year I wish I could turn into an animal but instead of Hibernation in Winter I want to do it through whole Summer. We got 86°F in our flat and even at night it isn't getting much cooler. Winter in the Mountains is the best. And you don't have to stay inside all the time. Go for a walk, hiking. But yeah I guess everyone is different.

Some souls come to earth just to have fun and relax, like on a holiday, as a reward I once read. Life doesn't have to be all hard work, it said we come also to enjoy life. You have a beautiful life in touch with nature. Don't compare yourself with other youtubers, you are accumulating knowledge and wisdom in a great environment.

After watching you bake bread these past couple weeks I’m so excited to learn how to bake bread too at this new place. Even though I’ll be busier than ever , like you said our mindset is all we need to change our experience. When I’m feeling tired I hope I have the clarity to remember how bless I am for this new learning opportunity. Thank you again for another inspirational video and safe travels 🫶🏼
