Sounds good. For me it was 40 years ago driving home after a party in Birmingham. Coventry street lights were in the distance, it would soon be daylight. Dad would be mad, but I had my sister with me for back-up. We said goodbye to the lads who drove us home and my sister was given the cassette which was playing this tune. I've never tired of it. (can't remember the lads though)

Lonnie's albums during the Columbia years and the subsequent Doctor Jazz period are collector's items. They typify what smooth jazz and atmospheric funk would sound like. During 1978, Lonnie released two projects. This is from that classic 2nd album, Exotic Mysteries.

Back again. Need more Quiet Moments. Need to get out of the Dallas area again. Snarly traffic, crowds, heat waves, cement city, skyscrapers everywhere, and yuck, had enough!
