Yes, My brother and I were at this concert and we were filmed for POSTERITY, you got that right! At the legendary Sunset Strip (KEY CLUB)
Quiet Riot broke out of LA's vibrant metal scene in 1983 with their crunching anthem Metal Health. Some 20 years later on Live! in the 21st Century, the group is still intact, and looking good for rockers in their mid 40's, fronted by the ever boisterous Kevin DuBrow, with colorful Rudy Sarzo on bass, and Frankie Banali bashing the drums. Guitarist Carlos Cavazo, who can still pass for an 80's version of The Monkees Mickey Dolenz, has lost none of his skills as a stringbender.

This is a perfect example of what a wonderfully skilled band QUIET RIOT was. To see them live was a profound experience. I was lucky enough to see and meet them several times in the early 90s and it was truly a blessing. Kevin Dubrow was a wonderful guy often misunderstood with a good heart and a razor sharp tongue.

I was a little surprised too but after a few seconds I could tell he was heavily autotuned and doubled. The effects available when they performed this were pretty advanced. I've heard his performance before these kind of affects were available and he was terrible. he couldn't even sing the normal parts without sounding like garbage. Even in this performance he still wasn't hitting the high notes.

I was fortunate enough to get to go to a Quiet Riot show on the 4th of July in 1998. The first time and only time I got to see them "live". It was a special concert because it was on Independence Day. Warrent, Dokken, and Slaughter were part of the concert line-up. It was in an outdoor pavilion in Dallas/Fort Worth,Texas. I got one of my co-workers to take over my Supervisor position for that night. Great show! It was so awesome that Quiet Riot sounded exactly like they did in the 1980's !! They sounded fresh and new! It was a treat and great that they chose to stay true to their music! 💝🤘🎶 R.I.P. Kevin Dubrow! 🤘🎶 Most bands' music sounds different over time.....partly because of changing members, partly because of learning new ways of playing an instrument or maturing abilities, partly because of new influences, and partly because the music was changed due to what is popular in mainstream media music. Like some bands changed to the Alternative Grunge style to keep up with the changing music scene in order to stay relevant. 🤯😵😱🤢🤮😭

Love this song . I miss the original line up though but unfortunately can't get two of them back.

The guy that pulls the girl off the stage; is/was their manager. We saw them at a special appearance at a small club that featured a meet and greet. This was probably my 6th time seeing the original lineup. the guys were great. They made time for everyone. Kevin being the friendliest. I bought their manager a beer; he said thanks - we clicked beer bottles; and I fired out with "What the hell happened" He looked at me; knew exactly what i was asking, took a swig; and replied: "Fucking shit ass grunge and the asshole record labels that turned their backs on 10 years of prosperity for a two year fad" We just shook our heads; and said "Fuck em" Thank you Kevin, Rudy, Frankie, and Carlos - your music helped me get threw highschool. RIP Kevin- you are sadly missed.

great story and I agree about the grunge :( .. BUT that guy was not their manager he was a tech and stage manager most likely... Frankie was managing the band back then...

A great cover version. Check out the original of "Come on feel the noise" sung by English rock group SLADE. Written in 1972 and followed up in 73 by another of their great songs - "Momma we're all crazy now".

If you want to teach things (that maybe other people knows yet) at least you have to report correctly. You named two songs and all the two incorrectly. The correct ones are: Cum On Feel the Noize - Slade Mama Weer All Crazee Now - Slade
