It was better in 1973 when Noddy and Jim did it themselves, Slade were superb. But I am sure they cried all the way to the bank.The original single was produced by Chas Chandler, manager of Jimi and bassist for the Animals.
@Treaxvour5 ай бұрын
@marcusstreets6691 no shot. That's like saying Dylans watchtower was better than jimis. Slade were good song writers, but they were goofy nerdy Brits in the 70s. Quiet riot brought their songs a whole new life to a whole new generation and audience, in a COOL way, that has lasted 40 years. Ask any American kid about cum on feel the noize and they will say Quiet riot. Slade started with covers too, so there's that.

When you take off to a supposed better band the grass ain't always greener. So you think Rhodes was a better guitarist, he wasn't, not for this band. That's why he left. Karma's a bitch. Carlos is a much cleaner guitarist for Quiet Riot and co-wrote songs as well! 🤔 Slade deserves credit for this song they just couldn't get it right and that's what makes this version the very best. 👍🔥
