Do you have dba levels associated with the swapped fans? Im curious about using these in a very small sff case. Great video too!

I really wish I did, but honestly, I think I rushed this video a bit. In hindsight, I should have used a decibel meter. Anyway, if it's a small form factor case, and depending on where the fans are mounted, you might be able to get away with the Noctua NF-A4x20 fans. That's just a guess though, since I don't know what is inside that SFF case. If noise isn't a major concern, I'd go with the arctic fans, but... they can still be kind of loud depnding on the envoronment.

@@RMTechCentralthe case is 2.5 liters, and maybe 1u thickness. I have some NF-A4-10s in a flex power supply I could experiment with. We'll see what the temps turn into. Thanks for the reply!

I see they have a similar model ARCTIC S4028-15K that is 15 000 RPM 😳. I just seen that is also in your description, not sure if mentioned in the video too.

They are mentioned in the description, but I didn't include them in the video. However, the ARCTIC S4028-15K is a great fan if maximizing airflow is more important than minimizing noise. I'll provide a link to a video that offers a good comparison of noise levels: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJ6kmoqbrLF4oZI

Would be interesting to see how temps fare with a single/dual fan failure.

That's an excellent thought, and in hindsight, I should have actually done this in the video. I might possibly be able to de-pin some wires to shut down a single fan, and then a second one. I'll have to wait until I have a chance to pull the router out of the rack though.

Ahh, just another KZbin viewer that has a compulsion to comment on everything they see in search of constant validation. Possibly if you weren't bothered by things that don't actually affect you, you wouldn't be this way. I wish you the best, and hope you grow up soon. Good luck! @compunerd

Dude's actually talking about real topic here and you're complaining? Artic fans are fantastic, got them in my custom 1u short depth opensense rig and Aruba s2500 switch. Go watch Linus tech tips for normie topics.
