Hey Quill, loving the series. FYI, I was reading through the EUIV wiki and I came across something that listed the most valuable trade goods over time. Sugar is more valuable than spices because even though both start at three, the price of sugar increases and the price of spices eventually decrease. I read this at the bottom of the Trade Strategy page, if you wanna check it out yourself. Cheers!

fun fact the wiki is not that solid the prices of spices do eventually decrease but only because of colonization its the same with coffee and even sugar but buildings can also contradict this in other words not to fault you(because essentially your right) trade is very complicated

You should build more airfields for better coverage of your and enemy provinces. It can help you a lot.

dont vassilize when you can take all provinces and realease them, they will have their opinion reset and all debt and tech will get reset, costs about the same diplo as vassilization

Less AE for vassalization though if you use the conquest CB. Religious CB and Imperialism CB you can release.

The problem is getting those to run on modern systems. That is what gog does. And since it's their work they obviously wont let competitors have it.

There's a few games that are available for both GOG on Steam; a narrow portion of games originally coming out in a one or two year timeframe around 2000. But for the ones that are on GOG, there may be some hoops to go thru to get them to work if getting them elsewhere. (Games using direct DOS based file commands crashing if installed anywhere in which the full path contains a space; games with CD checks crashing on Windows 10 unless a non-CD patch found.)

I play this game without most of the dlc and i gotta say this looks like a different game compared to vanilla. Shame the developers are scummy and hid UI updates in over priced dlc.
