I want to thank you for unwittingly showing me that I don’t have to stick to only the traditional/standard methods of piecing/quilting. Seeing only a glimpse of your creativity in (so far) two videos has my mind exploding in possibilities that go far, far beyond my simplistic HST patterns. Seeing a few of your quilts shows me it is ok to quilt outside of the mold. Karen Eckmeier is another who showed me it was ok to color outside the lines by using free-forming curves. Made me want to cry to know that there are quilt methods that I can make a mistake but incorporate it into the quilt without anyone noticing, myself included, that I don’t have to be so rigid or perfect in quilting. Yes, yes, oopsies give it character, but character in traditional piecing and what I’ve seen in yours and Karen’s creations is different and more up my ADHD alley. So a heartfelt THANK YOU for inadvertently showing me possibilities.

Feeling super blessed!! I managed to find Beth Donaldson's book on Amazon.co.uk for a reasonable price with reasonable shipping! My hubby had me order it for my birthday. It won't be here for a month, but I don't have time to start a big beautiful new work just now, so that's okay! I have something to look forward to!

Another excellent presentation Nancy. I am very impressed with your huge repertoire of work, and the fantastic standard of the quilts shown. I am working towards my first quilt now, 15 x 8” paper pieced pineapple squares completed so far. Unfortunately, this reduces the time available for watching your very informative tutorials. Will send you an image when completed - about 2 months away (so don’t hold your breath, LOL). Thank you again for information freely given. Regards Alison :)X

Again very exciting 👏 ..throughly enjoying these tutorials. I absolutely love your cat quilt the colours are gorgeous. All the fabrics you choose work so well together....I find it a bit daunting. 💐

Di - Colors are not scary :) - you can't break the quilt, use colors you like. As you do more you will start to see that color is your friend :)

I really struggled with the QAYG method. I am more of a free motion minded gal and it perplexed me. I would stuff the entire quilt in my machine to appliqué-quilt it!😂😂😂 Funny what we find daunting. Thanks for all that you share! You are an amazing source of inspiration and creativity!❤️ I am anxious to see you’re next video!
