This is exactly what I needed to see today! I just finished 3 quilts for my great nieces and nephews for Christmas they loved them, but in the binding, I really learned a lot this time, mainly because I did 3 at a time. I ended up doing 2 from back to front, and I meant to do all of them that way but messed up with the third and went from front to back. I did not want to rip it out, so I just went on KZbin to figure out how to stitch in the ditch. I did not have a stitch in the ditch presser foot sadly but it worked out pretty well. I’m ordering both the stitch in the ditch and the binding presser foot in the next week or so. I already have a walking foot that works really well. I just have a basic Janome machine nothing fancy. Perhaps one day when my ship comes in! lol. This was such a great tutorial. I really appreciate it. I happen to be home sick sadly from work, so I have the time to look at videos like this. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!

Great tutorial! I really liked the choices of thread color you chose for the leaf stitch on the last quilt, pretty.

Thank you for your information on the special foot with the center blade I will look into checking if it can be used on a Janome shank.

Thank you for this! What fabrics did you use for the Cinnamon Spice Quilt?

Could you have done the decorative stitch along the edge of the binding so it was part on the binding and part on the quilt itself?
