Congratulations to Keith! Congratulations on your new 'RV Machine". My BL Solaris 2 is wireless & if I can figure it out (I did) then I know you will, Miss IT lady! Just downloaded the free Sew Happy pattern! Can't wait to get started on it! I know a couple friends who will love getting this as a gift from me this year! Under my needle right this minute is a chairity quilt as you go quilt several members of my guild are making. Courthouse steps design, 10 regular & 10 on point using 2½" strips (mine happens to be purples), 12" finished squares, sewn together 4 rows x 5 rows. We will be putting backings on it where you turn the backing to the front & turn it over twice & stitch it on the front. EZPZ chairity quilt!

Becky, I’m working on yard flags this year and every month I make a new on for the next month. I design each one myself and purchase a lot of individual designs to incorporate into the flag. However I ran into a problem this month with my pe800 brother machine so I’m taking it to the sisters store in Plant City, FL (Inspire Sewing and Quilts) this week to have it repaired. Thank you for interviewing that shop, I didn’t even realize it was there. This threader broke on it and cut my hand. Also I purchased the softie bear by Designs by Juju and made a set of three for three little girls who are sisters. They turned out so cute and embroidered each one’s name on the bandana. I love watching your videos and have learned a lot from you.

I’m with you on retirement life. Dec will be a year for me. i just turned 57 and I will never say that I’m bored, there are not enough hours in the day! The table runner is beautiful!! I’m currently working on reorganizing my “Farmhouse hobby shop”. I bought myself a 21 Pro Q’nique long arm for my retirement and I’ve hard to totally rearrange my art studio and sewing room to get everything to fit. Now that I have that done I am getting my antique quilts that my husbands grandma and great grandma and myself have made along with their crocheted and embroidery works. I’ve ventured into the barn to search for treasures and was able to pull an old barn ladder and crates that his grandpa made and I’m displaying the quilts and linens on them. The farmhouse was also his grandparents and I’ve repurposed it. So I’ve been busy along with having a large garden this year and canning 54 quarts of tomatoes. I also am a huntress and whitetail deer season begins this Friday, so I’m preparing for that as well. My Daddy is my hunting partner but last year was his last year being able to hunt with me because of health issues, so it’s requiring a little more time preparing. I am hunting at his place so he can watch me through his picture window from his chair. I also do my own processing and it becomes very busy because my husband farms and this is his busy time. So I do everything myself when processing my deer. I shoot it, clean it, totally debone it, cut up steaks, grind burger and wrap it up and freeze it. So between learning my new long arm and the software that I purchased to use with it and everything else that I have going on, I don’t sit much or worry about getting bored. I Love My Retired Farm Life!!!

I'm working on summer soiree today (pat sloans qal) and bathing a couple of my dogs in between on breaks. LOL The tote was really neat. If my dogs didn't bring in so much dust, I would get it in a min. But here, I need plastic containers with lids for everything unfortunately and my rv has limited space so I just use containers and stack them (everywhere) LOL. I'm going to check into the sewing machine, but i'm kind of leaning towards the new luminaire.... and new scan and cut. Seen so much of it online lately and love how they work together. Money is my only hold back at this point. Thanks for sharing, love seeing new things and idea's and what your making.

@PowerToolsWithThread3 жыл бұрын
Ohh, that sounds nice! My room is 21'x21'. You're probably better to just buy one of those Morgan buildings that can be delivered. Get one with a window or two (and a nice porch to display your work!) and add a window unit AC. Or if you're going all out, I'd do one of those self-contained AC units. Mitsubishi makes one and they work marvelous (but they are pricey). The building will need to be finished out, but with today's price of wood, they actually come out less expensive in the end. Plus, you can add a gazillion electric plugs! Yay!
