When I started quilting my friend told me about your blog. She said you will find more free quilt patterns there than anywhere else. She was right. You share so much with us and appeal to our conscience without being offensive and giving us the ways we can help. Thank you Pat again and again for your skill, your heart and your willingness to go above and beyond made my donation to UNICEF, bought two shirts and will be making a quilt or two to send to Poland. I love you too Pat. 🥰

Thank you SO MUCH, Pat Sloan!!!! It’s wonderful to have this information so clearly laid out for us. I don’t know how you do all that you do, but you are incredible. Really. I wish we could send so much more to these hurting people. I wish we could wrap them up in our arms and keep them safe and promise them their country will survive and they will be able to live there in peace for the rest of their lives. I prayed as I stitched my little quilt for my door, and I will be praying hard as I stitch this quilt to be sent to someone over there. I believe our prayers can move mountains! Guess I’ll head out to my local quilt shop tomorrow and find some more blue and yellow fabric. I want these folks wrapped up in hope.

Thank you Pat for sharing the info about Lutheran World Relief. I've been making quilts with the ladies at my Lutheran church but did not know about the processing after they leave our church. Very informative! BTW we are always looking for gently used sheets from our congregation for backing material, we use polyester batting and tie our quilts. Our little church group is on goal to finish and ship 150 quilts this year.

Thank you so much for setting up these two places for donating, making sure what we send actually makes it to the intended persons. I am familiar with the Quilted Twins. I have ordered from them for years and they are a wonderful family. Have followed Becky on FB as well and knew she and her husband were missionaries working in Poland. She is able to get more done in a day than anyone I know! I did ask her once if she ever sleeps! I think she must sew all night long. Amazing! I wish I had found them before my parents left Florida because we had been spending a month two times a year in FL and drove very close to their store each time heading to visit my parents and then heading home again. I would definitely have stopped in had I known about them then. Must be an amazing store. My local church quilting group is involved mainly in local charities though our church raises funds for global distribution as the need comes up and we are also collecting through our denomination for Ukraine. Yes, there are so many in need right now. Thank you Pat for setting this up. You are amazing and have such a great heart for wanting to give to those who are in need and sharing it this way. ♥️

Hi Pat! As you say "oh my goodness" at the sight of those massive stacks of pallets of bales!!! What a process for them to do this. I just love, love your t-shirt & have shared with a friend & will get one for myself for sure & possibly my son's girlfriend for her birthday next month after she looks at them & decides on the color. Are you wearing the steel blue? Such a pretty, soft color. I like the gray & teal but my son said he likes the teal better 😊 Thank you for sharing all this info & seeing the pictures really hits home as to the needs of the people.
