QUILT SHOW IN THE VINEYARD!!!!

Join Ld and I as we attend an "English" quilt show event in the vineyard near Amish Country! It was so amazing, but what made it awesome? The quilt called "Alaska" which is the EXACT quilt that Anna and her sisters are sewing for a guest of my channel! I was delighted to see it in person, and it is more beautiful than you can imagine BUT when I rushed over to show my photo to Anna and her sisters, it was obvious.......Anna's Alaska Quilt is super special, one of a kind and gorgeous in every way! What an amazingly beautiful setting for all those lovely quilts!! I so enjoyed seeing every one and can you imagine the many hours of stitching that went into making such treasures? Thank you for taking us along, I certainly had fun watching!

I had sooo much fun being with you on this adventure..it is EXACTLY how i felt seeing my first quilt show.....Overstimulating, Exhilarating, Overwhelming....my sentiments to a T!!!!!! I have a local quilt show that is shown every two years, so the 2nd time i went, i told my husband to have supper without me as i was going to stay until i was finished......the 1st time i went, i was only allowed to go for 2 hours, and left the show WANTING.....wanting more time, wanting more information, wanting more money to purchase fabrics and or patterns. So, the 2nd year, i went prepared, with just a little more money, and a LOT more time. Time was the more important desire. I did purchase a pattern that i've yet to make, and it is a pattern that i saw in your show today. I so very much could feel your thrill at all you've seen, you're soooo expressive, and it's very heart felt. I am so honored to be with you today. And when you saw the Alaska quilt, your shock and excitement was fun to hear on the camera.....the emotion you felt when you saw the Northern Lights quilt.......lovely. You're a beautiful lady, and i'm sooo happy to know you. God's Blessings

I absolutely loved seeing all the beautiful quilts. I am sure you are not aware because you stated that you had never been to a quilt show before but the number one rule is: DO NOT TOUCH THE QUILTS. The oils on peoples hands can be very harmful to the fabrics. The acids from our skin will damage the fibers beyond repair. Just image if 20 people put their hand on one quilts!!! This is why a lot of shows ask you to bring or they provide white cotton gloves for each person to wear.
