Amish Quilt Making, A Very Private View with Anna.....Second half Part 1

Today we finish the second half of Part 1 with Anna and her sister as we shop Lovina's fabric shop. After a drive through the countryside, we arrived at Lovina's shop and I stood back and watched the "masters" at work! Calculating fabric needs, choosing colors and then reading the pattern came as second nature! I can't wait to see this quilt start to go together......but first.....one more trip to an English fabric shop and then a special request by Naomi to visit a shop she has been hoping to visit for over a year! Oh yes, it will be fun and of course lunch will be on the menu as well! See you, and don't forget to watch Part 1!!!!!!!

the green, browns and white quilt with the adorable kitty cat is beautiful quilt!! also, i worked for a man and his wife in a Hallmark store, and the man always drove a very old tractor that he kept in good repair in a Memorial Day parade every year.. he was extremely proud of that tractor as it was in his family for many many years. enjoying your tour of fabric shopping. Thank you for being considerate enough to blur faces.! I used to live in an Amish community, and continue to visit my many Amish friends there. Some people on KZbin sneak filming the Amish, and I can tell you they hate it. Nice video.

I was surprised to hear WV. I was born and raised there but now living in Texas. I love watching videos on quilting and the Amish are the best quilt makers. (IMO)
