Thanks for the demo of the Quilter, really excellent illustration of how it sounds, what it adds on top of direct tone. Nice choice of songs too, I just bought Triptych and listened to Try to Sleep about 20 times, listening mainly to the bass - the bass playing through the whole song is awesome, so spot on and in the pocket everywhere, really like what you do in the verses! The bass is so clean and tight in the section at 3:24 too. Scary. Demos like this, showing the bass in the mix the way you do are so useful. Your videos are all great, this one really nailed it too.

Thanks so much! I'm glad and honored that you enjoy the music :) Ya Bill is a good friend of mine, I've played on everything he's done since college and he's just the best. In fact he's gonna start doing guitar videos with me here very soon :) Stay tuned and stay well!

Great playing as always, just found out about these and glad you made a video of it. Yeah, that’s a great sounding amp there! I have the microblock guitar amp version, which also sounds great on bass with small cabs, I use it as a practice amp all the time. This just made it to the short list lol, thanks for the demo

Contemporary pop rock was actually Contemporary Christian = Do it again by Elevation Worship, I have played it live many times

I heard the leading tone and the key of Bb and was like “he’s playing ‘Do it Again.’” Glad I wasn’t the only one to notice lol

Sounds really good. Did you ever do a review on the new V2 Tech 21 Sansamp Bass Driver DI? It seems everybody has one but was curious to your thoughts on it.

It's a preamp?

Yes, and a 45 watt power amp! I don’t have this one yet, but I have the guitar version if it, definitely loud enough for practice, some rehearsals and gigs, but I think its true intention is as a studio amp to be miked, where big volume doesn’t really matter. But yeah, they work perfectly as just a preamp, and can power a speaker, in the size of a pedal.

No, it’s just a tiny amp head.

“Contemporary pop rock” and then plays a worship song. Hahahaha! Easter eggs.
