I'm trying to use the mic line input with my acoustic guitar and a looper pedal in the effects loop. I notice the effects loop does not work when using mic line, does your work the same way?

That’s a good question that I unfortunately don’t know the answer to. I’ve never tried it on my Mach 2. I do have a 6 position foot controller for the amp that can turn the effects loop on and off. I know I tried using the foot switch to turn on and off the reverb for the mic/line and it worked. Maybe it also works for the effects loop?

How do you like it one year later?

I love it! For my latest solo guitar project I’ve recorded pretty much everything through it. I usually mic it and take a direct out. It’s my go to jazz amp and I use it sometimes on Top 40/Wedding gigs as well. Love how loud and relatively light it is! Plus, being solid state I don’t have to worry about tubes and it breaking down.

Is that a Mesa Boogie 50 Caliber behind you? I have one.

Haha, yea it is! The Mesa isn't actually my amp as I was recording this demo at school I used to teach at but it's a cool amp!

@@sheifiproductions Ha!. I was watching this video because I was looking into this Quilter amp you are demonstrating here. It arrived 12/20/24 and sounds great! Mine has the 3 button controller. I can't find a 6 button. I'll keep looking.

@@Jeff-S congrats on the amp. It's a great amp, and frankly I've liked pretty much everything I've ever tried from Quilter. I don't believe the 6 button foot switch is still available but you might be able to find it somewhere used. If you go to the quilter website and to support it doesn't hurt to ask as they're generally quite responsive and helpful!

@@sheifiproductions Great advice. I'll reach out to them. Yes I figured it wasn't available but I could probably find a used one if I keep poking around. No big deal though. The three button one that it came with works well. Thank you.
