Wonderful player! Such beautiful phrasing and attention to dynamics.

That guitar sounds amazing. So does the amp - and last but certainly not least, so does your playing. Very mesmerizing.

It's a great front end. I wouldn't know where to start to find an active speaker to use it with. I play low power gigs in small venues. Currently I play on an archtop with a Roland Cube80X via a DigiTech RP360XP set up as a volume pedal only. I tried sending the output straight to the power amp in the Cube, but the JC Clean sounds better. Everything you play on always sounds a little better than anything I play on. I did improve my Suhr Classic-T with the Toneshaper package you demo'd. Where is the pot of gold for me?

Spencer, I believe the Quilter 101 Reverb is a complete 50--watt amp, so you wouldn't need to use an active speaker. Just plug this amp into your favorite speaker cabinet with a standard speaker cable, and you should be in business. www.quilterlabs.com/index.php/productpage/101-reverb

Great demo Tim - thank you for all your generous video work. How is 50W working for you? That is one thing that makes me worried about Quilters. I normally play through 150W Evans solid state 110 combo (with XLR option to mixing board and external cab out).

Quilter amps usually (always?) contain "extra" watts: I think all of their 200 watt amps actually have 400 watts. But the 101 Reverb I'm not sure about. There is a guy on another channel who said the 101 Reverb "is plenty loud for any gig." Of course, your speaker(s) and cabinet are at least as important as your amp when it comes to generating volume.
