You make great use of the small space. My house is pretty small too. I share my sewing space with my home office, deep freezer and large storage dresser. Maybe one day we will enclose the carport and make an extra room.

I’m a new subscriber so your old videos pop up in my feed. It’s been almost two years since this video so I’m probably too late to say this, but I love your wood closet doors! I hope you have got around to painting them! I’m a Bernina gal, but you sure make the love of your Juki infectious! Too late for me too change. I probably would have saved a ton of money if I had only known. Oh, and by the way, your room may be small to you, but it’s not tiny. My sewing room is tiny-it’s 8’ x 9’- but I’m super glad to have it!

Thanks for the tour. If I were you, I would take the doors off your closet and put some pre-made bookshelves in to store all your supplies; something like IDEA Billy Bookcases. Love your Callax pressing station!

Hi! I really like your design wall. I have little wall space, so this would be great. Love the ironing station also. Did you know ikea now sells metal bases for the kallax, raises it up about 7 inches. You've given me several ideas for my sewing room. Thanks

Wow, thank you! Don't be jealous, my room is a tiny bedroom of our house 10 X 12. I had to get real creative to fit what I wanted to fit in the room. you noticed the inside of the closet hasn't been painted and I'm not a fan of plastic drawers. Maybe one day, I'll get the entire room finished.

I love the ironing station, but I'm wondering why you didn't put it on wheels so it could be pulled out from the wall for quilt tops to drape over the other side when ironing them.

There is several inches between the station and the wall. I actually do drape quilts down that side when I iron them. However, wheels would have been a good idea! Thanks for watching :)
