I love the way you talk. You and Jordan fabrics are the ones that got me into wanting to do quilting. I got my first electric sewing machine 4 days ago so haven't started yet I've made a dog coat, a heat pack and a bag. I've ordered some thing I'll need so as soon as they come I'm getting started thank you I haven't been excited about any thing in a really long time.

keely johnston so important we enjoy everyday, any little moment of fun, happy for you to find something to give you a moment of fun. Keep your expectations low and you won’t overwhelm yourself. An adult coloring book is another simple way to play with colors when you don’t have the energy to sew, creating anything opens your brain to want more! If you create a blanket focus on each square and not the whole blanket, eventually you’ll get it done...if it takes you a couple years, it’s ok, it’s something to keep your brain creating!

Edyta, I too love your calming, sweet voice. Thank you for your wonderful tutorials. These sweet circles are addicting and mesmerizing. I started out doing hexagons with English Paper Piecing and am now transitioning to your circles. Showing and making available the products you use on your website is most helpful and informative.

Wonderful inspiration and options for finishing! I enjoy how you gather your supplies and tools in a basket--it translates into better organization and ultimately a successful project.

I think I’ll get some backgrounds and cut them to size so any small scraps from each project I make. I will make some and place in a box and when enough I’ll make a scrappy quilt.

Loved the tutorial. It looks like fun. Have a big to do list. This is going on my wanna learn technique list. Couple things though. Could you mention machine needle size along with type(trying to get all that straight in my mind). When fusing mention what side goes down on fabrics. Also, when showing small things (Hand stitching) any way to get close ups? I have some eye problems and close ups would help. The small box wasn't quite close enough at times.

The hardest part about hand applique is threading the tiny needles with my aging eyes. Do you have any tricks or devices to help with this?
@MorningDove2043 жыл бұрын
Sewline Sure Guide fine needle threader for needle eye size 9-12 (red and pink) or the larger eye threader size 8 and larger is White and red or Bohin desk top needle threader is excellent and has dual sides for all size needles. I like my Sewline Sure guide fine threader for on the go. It is the size of a lipstick case. My Bohin desktop one, stays at home!

It’s really hard to see your details simply because your camera frame is to far back. Zooming in would be extremely helpful. As you mentioned, some of our eyes are old and need more close ups. Thank you for all your videos. They are really enjoyable.
@ceecee87574 жыл бұрын
I agree. It needs to be zoomed in. All the other stuff in the frame is just a waste. Maybe she needs to hire a camera person. That'd be awesome.
