My husband just sat and watched your workshop tour with me. He felt L in love with the Barn Quilt and said it would be great on the wall of my new sewing room we just built over the garage. Hi, Adyta! I recently bought the pdf pattern for the blue barn quilt and have cut out the house pieces. In the instructions for the background it says to cut 1 strip wof X 77" then cut that long strip into 3 strips 4 1/2 by 77." I've never cut a strip like that "with" the grain and I want to make sure that is correct? I see that your side borders have no seams and I think that is also cut on a long wof strip and then sub cut that with the grain? I have read the instructions 3 times and want to make sure! Thank you so much for the blue barn tutorial. Love your patterns and your skill!
