Thanks for reinforcing the joy of making a quilt rather than worrying about exact quilting. Lighthouse been the first quilt where I have really enjoyed making the quilt and not worried about how to quilt it to the point where there are tops sitting around not quilted which rather defeats the purpose of making a quilt.

The only time I use the wrong side of the fabric is by mistake. A mistake I did not see until I finished the quilt. This video is jam packed with great information.

I enjoy hearing about the technical aspects of fabric design, printing, selection, etc. I appreciated your explanation regarding why to choose a lighter color thread for quilting. Even though I don’t have time to participate in your quilt-a-longs, I always learn something when I listen to your discussions about them.
