What an AWESOME way to share your QUILTY love with your nieces and their families…I gifted my nephew a quilt way back in 2012 when he was a senior in high school and recently found out that he never leaves home without that quilt. He’s 28 now and temporarily working in Montana (we live in Arkansas) and his mom, my sister, said he took it with him and that in all his travels, even in college, he always took that quilt with him. Now that’s what us quilters love to hear. Quilty Blessings are the best. ☺️🥰😍

Your nieces are so blessed to have an aunt like you. I hope they appreciate it. I made my sister a quilt for Christmas this last year and she said oh thank you and didn’t even unfold it to look at it. I was so upset I worked on it all year long and put so much hard work and love into it.

Always so fun to watch and learn. I heard of gamboge from an art teacher I had about 15 years ago. She had a gardening article from England that mentioned the color gamboge and found their use of it interesting. I then had to go buy some watercolor paint of this color. Your crumb blocks look amazing. I love this idea. And I love your blocks of Words to live by. The one block reminds me of the quote from the Irish writer, Oscar Wilde of "Be yourself, everyone else is already taken" Lol! I love my Irish heritage. I'm really wanting to join in on the Flapjack quilt. You have some very lucky nieces and other family members. ❤ Habe a blessed day.

So many beautiful quilts!!! I love them all but the sock monkey is my favorite. I made my grandchildren sock monkey hats for Christmas when they were little. I think they need sock monkey quilts as teens. I'm thinking about doing the flap jack & pulling from my stash. I have 2 rolling carts with fat quarters & smaller. Choosing colors isn't my strong point but I think I can do it the way you explained. I always enjoy starting my morning with you. I learned so many helpful things from watching. Thank you for taking the time to share with us.

Pat , I absolutely agree with the contrast of pink on Flea Market flowers. In fact, I suspect it’s a mistake. I totally swapped out the mid pink for the very lightest one and that’s far more like it looks in the photo. Thanks for another great video

Good morning all you fun quilters !! I am using a red, white and blue line for our Flapjacks Q.A., wondering what color you would use for the small square's ?

Maybe use a cream or gold for the squares. Or use reds and blues for the strips, and whites for the squares.
